Saif is a brilliant actor. Princessaura, did Kurbaan disgust you because of hte intimate scenes? Because Saif has done intimate scenes wiht Preity as well in Salaam Namaste. And Vidya in Parineet, BIpasha in Race, so why is the intimate scene in Kurbaan also made such a big deal.

It was like 30 seconds of a 3 hour film. Did everyoen sleep thorugh the rest of the movie where Saif gave a gripping performance?

For me, Krubaan ranks as Saif's top four performances, in this order.

Ek Hasina Thi

Parineeta

Kurbaan

His rom coms, while leight hearted and endearing, are NOTHING compared to his performance in these four films.

Acting is a business but it is an art form at the end of the day. An actor has to mature, get better and try different things. If you're just working for money then you're not really doing the art justice. Which is why I have no respect for guys like Akshay and Salman. Their mindless comedies are geared towards the box office and box office only. SRK was like that a few years ago but with Chak de and RNBDJ, Swades and MNIK he did get out of his comfort zone and try something different. Btw I have nothing against Salman the person, I've actually hung out with him at the Taj in mumbai, a couple years back and he's a really good guy. Him and Anil, whose the biggest douche you'll ever meet, but as an actor he's been doing the exact same thing since judwaa. Hamming and over-acting with a tere naam and a phir milenge in between. Some work, some don't.
