We've seen Shahrukh-Saif.
We've seen Shahrukh-Shahid.
We've seen Ranbir-Imran
We've seen Karan-Shahrukh

^^ Hosting an award function. What do they all in common? They are all of the males.

Now they all have been quite entertaining and fun to watch hosting. Without a doubt they all have been amazing. BUT why the stereotype?

Remember when Juhi hosted?

Wasn't she just a treat to watch? Where are the female hosts? Why aren't they hosting? I'm tired of seeing the guys over and over again. So many actresses have the capability to host.

I mean the list of actresses is countless. Why can't they ever get a chance to host? We as the audience want to see something new.

Two answers:

First that its bollywood and males lead in almost everything.

And second that maybe if the girls were/are offered, they do not like the other actress that is offered. Sometimes its personally between the actresses.

But then again, I doubt they even offer them both. 😡

I mean we see actor-actor, actor-actress but not actress-actress. Why?

Okay I just ended up asking the same question again. LOL

There are very few people who can host well 😳 But I would agree they should include actresses also.

You never know how one is as a host if you don't give them an opportunity to do so.

Hmmm... Two actresses together hosting....

Instead of hosting we'll get to see cat fight... 😉 😆 pulling each others hair.. The claws will be out....

I think somebody hit the nail on the head in the Ranbir-Imran hosting thread. This is BW. Actresses just cannot get away with taking digs at the industry (other actors, movies, directors) like the actors can.

I think it's also about who will bring in the TRP's. Generally, our actors are known for bringing in the crowds. We don't have many actresses besides Katrina who can really draw in the crowds just on their presence alone.

Actresses do end up hosting small parts of the award shows though. The main hosts are always the guys.

I would personally love to see Juhi, Lara, and Preity host. They are hilarious and I wouldn't be bored with them!

Off-topic, but I have another problem with the awards though. Why have none of them bothered to get Madhuri to dance? I mean, hello, she's right here in India and will be here for atleast 1 more month!! I dunno about the others but I'd much rather see her perform than see some of the other performances.

I remember Juhi hosting and she was fab. I really want to see more actresses hosting in all honesty!

Yeah.. Thats what I am saying.. One of the reason is the actresses dont get along.... atleast the men act like they get along... but the actresses are pretty vocal abt the cattiness....

and who are the 2 current top actresses who can get along well to host the function....

None...
