It also has to do with the society and how we view things. We don't usually expect women to make the kind of jokes that Ranbir, SRk, and imran make on the awards. Like these gay jokes ect...Maybe that also has to do with it. You know women are usually suppose to behave and act proper and blah blah blah

K i was wondering.. we are sayin it happens in bolly only.. but have many women hosted Oscars???? If i am remembering correctly i remember elen degeneres hosting the Oscars once.. and she was quite pathetic and a big bore.. i don't like her much anyways.. but she was vacum cleaning in the middle of the show.. lol.. she wasn't that funny.. so have any other women hosted oscars.. I know that generally oscars are hosted by stand up comedians.. has any other woman hosted the Oscars??

you have point if bollwood actresses are too classy to poke jokes at their film fraternity friends then get Rakhi sawant to host one she will do & say anything 😉

I was wondering the same thing ladygaga. I don't think a lot of women have hosted the oscars. But Queen Latifa had hosted the people's choice award this year and the year before that!

Goldie Hawn Whoopi have also hosted the oscars & this year anne hathaway is hosting it with someone i believe

I don't remember any women hosting the Oscars either..

It was a good episode! Brought back tons of memories..very nostalgic..Madhuri did a little something after most of the performances and a lot of people left her very very sweet messages..she was so overwhelmed..looked like she would cry on Tuesday (she did on Monday)..

in hollywoood girl or boy they all host the awards sgow for example the queen latifa or elle the generous but bollywood isnt ready for female host because they need to make stupiddd jokes like srk

Whoopi is hilarious.. i love her comic timing.. i dunno if Goldie hawn has anything to do with comedy.. I liked your earlier suggestion.. they should get Rakhi sawant to host these awards.. she would be very entertaining... in bolly also before malaika arora khan and archana puran singh used to host these awards..

Rakhi sawant will reveal all the inside secrets of bollywood. They will never get her as a host. She is too much to handle for bollywood lol! But I do want to see her as a host though. She is too funny!
