Yes it does --- whenever I can learn from their mistakes...
No it doesn't --- whenever I have to mind my own business...I never buy people magazines or "girl"'s magazines..I'm not fascinated by their lives...I can do all my dirt in my private life and post comment in "sativiri...." (what's the word again) mode loooool -- when celebs can't lol

It used to before...

Now I have look past their personal life.. If their loved ones ie parents, bf, gf, husband, wife does not care, who am I to be bothered about... They are their to show their art and if they are capable of doing it, I have no problem...I don't want to waste my money on wooden planks...

I like Ranbir for the fact that he is one of the few new entrants who can deliver what he is asked for and are getting better than the few veterans we have.

I love bebo for her acting capabilities and her off screen persona..

I used to hate Ash because of her manipulative (not a fact, just believe) behavior , but I have come to appreciate her achievements and her on screen acts (Guru, Jodha, Choker Bali)

I love Salman irrespective of his past behavior because I love his antics on screen. I can connect to him and he seems humane to me..

I adore Saif Ali Khan and I am past his divorce, cheatings because of his sheer genius on screen and his wittiness in his interviews..

--many more..

Depends. I mean if i like an actor because of his work, i would try my best to pray tht he/she wins an award because they really deserve to. I don't give a fudge whoever my favourite star is dating or is married to , if they are happy, then as a fan i should be happy for them! :) But i do like to know every bit about their life :P But if i come to know my fav star is doing something that is beyond the limit, or not even tolerable in my eyes, i would stop being a fan of them right away =) Have done it in the past & will keep doing that.

I totally concur with Xeta's view, I love a good bitching session, but at the end of the day if a movie is good Ill watch it. And even if a fav acts in a movie and movie is bad Ill never pray or hope that it somehow becomes a success like Aamir's Mangal Pandey.

the one trait which I totally detest is arrogance of upbringing- I hate it when some starlets think that its their right to be successful just because they come from a filmi family.

Couldn't care less about their personal lives .. I'm not gunna sit here and say I don't enjoy reading/hearing about it (cause I do) but like others have said .. if they're in something I like, I'll give it a watch.

As much as I would bash Ranbir's personal life, if I see a good movie of his like Wake up Sid, I will praise him. People think I'm being two face for bashing one moment and next moment praising but they should get the facts right. I was not liking he's personal life but loving him on screen lol

It really shouldn't but I think sometimes when you're a fan of somebody and they do something incredibly stupid, in a crazy twisted way, I think it'll somehow be reflected badly on the fan because they liked them in the first place and they find it necessary to constantly justify/clarify actions, so it seemingly affects them. Just my opinion, not even sure I've made any sense there but there you go.

Personally, yeh, i'll admit it, it makes me happy when my fav's do well or something nice is happening in their life. Maybe constantly being bombarded with news and pics makes you feel closer than you actually are to them. Taking a step back is probably quite difficult.

Just like a lot of people have mentioned, even if I dislike someone, that doesn't necessarily mean I cant appreciate their work.
