Sushmita Sen...Why She Never Reached The Top?

Sushmita Sen is a former Miss.Universe and it is the crown that many consider bigger than Miss.World(That Aish won that very year)

I have no freaking idea why we have so many crowns =X

And then they both were touted to be next big thing. Aish gradually reached the top and is still there and Sushmita despite being very beautiful and maybe a better actor than Aish is no where close to her.

Why do you think the case is?

Sush said she would've been on top but she never got big directors..

Why you think that happened?

Is she a bad actor ? Not professional or what?

What do you blame for her not so successful career?

She was great in Samay , Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Main Hoon Na to name a few.

Is it the frama factor?

She is very tall and broad.....! Farah Khan commented that Sush is a very professional actor who does not like making friends and her only friend in the industry is Salman Khan. She is famous for not being friends with actors and just have a prof relationship and not attending a lot of parties.

well according to me she was awful in maine pyaar kyon kiya even biwi no 1 .. she does not suits on comedy.. she was ok in main hoon na

coz there was no comedy there.. for her.. will I say..

i dont know if i should rag someone in.. also see lara who also were miss univers didnt reach the top but Priyanka did.. just like aishwarya..

miss univers tag is jinx..

i was thinking the same , its doesnt matter if youre miss world , miss universe or miss india . . . it depends alot on which kind of movie you chose and how much you stay in the media :)

I saw her in news more for her relationships rather than movies ! .. 😆
i think she acts fine ! .. In Samay she was fab ..i alwayz believed tht she is pretty much not tht keen abt her acting career.

Well... I like Sushmita I think she can act I think it was the kind of films she did and I think she did a good job in Main Hoon Na she was amazing in Biwi No 1

She was too in your face about her personal life. Indian audience don't take that very kindly. What on earth explains the rise of Aishwarya and Priyanka but not Lara and Sushmita otherwise? I mean initially they were all pretty bad, but two climbed to the top gradually while the other two are still struggling at the bottom. Besides, Sushmita made a lot of blunders with her movie choices, did not get in the right camp at the right time and blah blah.

She so so actress. But she herself has said that movies are not only thing for her and she has other things in life to enjoy. I don't think she took her career seriously.
