ya ash was considered for munnabhai coz initially srk was the choice for munnabhai

later srk backed and so did ash

i think the role preity missed was of soha's role in Rang de basanti, i had heard so

madam aish didnt do dostana, coz she felt it was too urban role in terms of outfits, and post marriage she didnt wanted to wear more revealing outfits in a film

lol ya PZ was the original choice..but she refused it..later she joked telling that t must be them balancing out their karmic equations or smthing..lol cz kareena refused KHNH n she took t n vice versa wth JWM..

well at KHNH time Saif was still married to Amrita..so guess it wouldnt have been such a good thing 4 either..

ya i wish preity was in soha's role, coz i think she has those fiery eyes which was seen in soha's character of RDB

I think the shooting dates clashed with Jhoom barabar jhoom so she couldnt make time for RDB

arrghh thats real bad luck:( she probably had already signed JBJ when that offer came:(
JBJ is one f the few movies i wish preity had never worked on!only thing good abt that movie was the bol na halke..song!

yep, she was already on board for JBJ so she could not do it

and about jhoom, exact feeling here, i still have bol naa halke halke in top list of my ipod coz its one the best pz songs i have ever watched, i feel the song is very romantic and pure

I also read before that dostana was offered to Kareena but she declined b/c it had abhishek in it and they were not on good terms

Dil to Pagal Hai Karishma's role was offered to Urmila and Kajol but they declined

Chandni role was offered to Rekha first but Rekha suggested Sridevi's name

Sridevi's role in Lamhe was offered to Juhi Chawla but she looked too young to play older role so it went to Sridevi

Urmila's role in Judai was offered to Karisma kapoor but opt out to do dil to pagal hai role

Karisma's role in Raja Hindustani role was offered to Juhi Chawla but she refused

Rani's role in Kuch kuch was written for Twinkle Khanna in mind but she refused, then Karishma refused and then it went to Rani b/c of Aditya Chopra

Aish wanted more money for her Mangal Pandeys role, she had no qualms on the length of the role which is she didn't do the movie.

Chalte Chalte was also Aish movie but it went to Rani b/c of Salman's interference

Aamir didn't do Darr was 2 reasons. He didn't trust Yash Chopra b/c of the way his character was shaped for Parampara. He wanted to have joint narration with Sunny Deol but Yash refused

Baazigar was offered to Akshay Kumar

Munnabhai and 3 idiots were offered to SRK

Hum Tum was offered to Vivek but he was too hot headed at that time so he refused

KHNH was Kareena's role but she refused over monetory issue and it went to Preity

Vidya Balan was offered Konkana's role on LCMD. I am so glad she didn't do it

Madhavan's role was offered to SRK and Karan's role was offered to HR but they refused for RDB

Kajol has been the first choice for all of karan's films including kal ho na ho. She also passed up 3 idiots for mnik( even though 3 idiots did better i think the role in mnik was far better suited for her), infact she was even offered mona's role when she refused kareena's role in 3 idiots.

She also refused babul( good choice!) and hum dil de chuke sanam( kajol is my favorite but i think Ash rocked and no one could have done it better!)

every actress was offered rani's role in kkhh, lol. but it was rani's destiny to take that one! Also, saif and a host of other stars were offered salman's role in kkhh, but none were keen on it because they thought it would be bad for their image to lose the girl. Salman offered to play it, because he said he really like yash johar.
