Here list any roles that you know of that actors/actresses passed up that later on began famous and well known.

One I know is Kareena was orignally asked to play Priyanka's role in Dostana, but had date problems and couldn't take it on.

Preity - Lagaan, Munna Bhai MBBS, Jab We Met..i think thr was 1 or 2 other.bt can't remember..

Aish was the original choice for Dostana (see link below and article which confirms that):

I have not seen one article where Kareena was even considered or approached.

Also, Aish was the original choice for lots of other films: Waqt, Namastey London, Mission Kashmir, Parineeta, Krish, Corporate, Game, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Raja Hindustani, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Asoka, Bombay, Bluffmaster, Yaadein, etc.

Most of these films were rejected because she had date hassles. So many films Aish declined which went to other actresses. But, I guess it was destiny.

And Preity was never considered for Munnabhai MBBS. It was Aish (read this article).

I remember that Kareena was offered Kal ho na ho...
Also Kajol was offered Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna!!!!
And Kareena was offered Dostana 2 not Dostana and she had date problems

oh n i thought it was Karishma who was approached cz i remember thr was some problem with it as preity had replaced karishma n quite a lot f films...may be rani was also in the lot..bt i never knew it:-)
