As for the topic, Deepika as a SRK costar in debut movie is huge for her but that doesnt mean that its only bcoz of that she has all this popularity surrounding her. If she didnt chose her future scripts wisely then she wouldnt be noticed so much. Some did well, some floped, some were fair. Its all a mix. And its just the starting for her. Give her sometime. Everyone needs it. Everyone can improve. I believe she is too and hopefully she ll continue too.

Deepika was in the news quite a lot and she went around with SRK for the publicity of the movie. These factors do count in bollywood! Which actress wudnt go with SRK? 1. Its movie promotions. A job. Specially wen ur a debutant. 2. I am sure any other actress wud as well. Eg)If Rani got a movie with SRK at this stage, wudnt she do the movie and then go around doing the promotions?

Everyone can improve, and of course, so can she. I hope she focuses on her dialogue delivery because it sounds extremely monotonous. I also have problems with her expressions. She's overrated to me, because she is much more popular than her body of work and/or acting. I dont agree with you on this but thats just the game, its all opinions and varied perspectives of every different individual. Everyone has different and we may not agree with it. But we shud respect it. And I do that too.

You talk about "now", but ALL of them established themselves when the media was not so much in for forefront. They gained popularity because of their movies (Aamir had QSQT, Salman had MPK, SRK had Darr, Baazigar, etc. in the beginning of their careers). 😛

It does help them in the publicity for their movies now, who is denying that? It is not a coincidence that SRK-Aamir always end up talking about each other near the release of their films. 😛

Obviously. But Sonam is not 'known' for her rivalry or relationships (though, there have been rumours; it is good in a way, and bad also in another) but for her fashion sense. When people talk about Deepika, it is mostly because of her relationships and less about her work. Blame it on whoever, but that's just how it is, right.

😆😆 Angelz ji, you missed my point. I am not blaming her. Of course, it was part of her job. It helped her gain limelight though, right. It is important for all actors/actresses even when they have been in industry for long. So of course, it gained Deepika a lot of publicity and gained her a huge fan base (this is for those who claimed earlier that OSO was not the main reason for her gaining such a huge fan base and gave example of Anushka, etc., hence I raised the point). Publicity of the movie is also very important. The girl in Swades hardly got any publicity and she was amazing. So, just having a debut with SRK is obviously not enough.

I dont agree with you on this but thats just the game, its all opinions and varied perspectives of every different individual. Everyone has different and we may not agree with it. But we shud respect it. And I do that too.
