Some of these reports have been confirmed by multiplex owners /directors , trade analysts (and NOT critics)so not all these reports are false. And theyr certainly not friends with the SS because if they were they wudnt have screened the film at all! The collections have dropped significantly (in India) since Monday. The reasons have already been explained by some members in this thread !

That said , the movie is definitely not a flop. It is a super hit at least if not a blockbuster thanks to the bumper opening !

^ Yup ,Its still doing really well overseas. I do not know about other cities . But in Delhi (where I live) its pretty much what these articles are reporting. All my relatives and friends who did not watch the film during the opening weekend and went this week say they got the tickets very easily and the hulla hoo is gone ! I still hvnt watched it though. Might go tomorrow !

Which overseas cities are you guys talking about? I am from NewJersey and here the rushes haven't been that encouraging even from the first week...Except for the opening first few days, the show almost is running with empty houses...Now its already 9.15AM and I just checked if the tickets were available for the 10.15AM show in the two theaters near my area...and alas they are available in aplenty!

The movie is good no doubt...But its not a classic that some people are making it out to be...It doesn't belong to the class of the other SRK movies like Kabhi ha Kabhi na, Swades etc...

Compared to Kurbaan, I felt MNIK was better
The message was touching, the second half was okayish.
Either way, I suggest everyone go to the theaters and watch it.
Srk's performance was awesome!

Unfortunatly aaj kal people prefers silly films than serious films with noble messages like MNIK........
But MNIK is for sure not flop, it broke the record of Bollywood, so no question of being it flop.........
