see i agree that srk is no saint, and he def uses media to promote his movies and for his benefits. But this particular incident is much more than a movie now. shiv sena has been bullying people in Mumbai for years now. At least, srk's stand brought this issue into the lights. Amir and salman are the only ones who have openly supported him, which is a sad fact. And i don't see any benefit for them in this, especially the part that salman's support for srk is going to help Veer somehow is just a bizzare assumptions to me, which is highly unlikely to happen.

Suku i never said their is a competition of friendship. Friendship doesn't ask for any competition. Srk never asked for support, few of his so called rivals supported him while his best buds stayed mum. Even a stranger be with you in good times but who is there with you during your bad phase? Honestly i don't care what other celebs has to say on twitter but please they shouldn't call themselves Srk's friend. But i won't take away the credit from Aamir, Salman whatever has happened in the past, they have put their rivalry aside and came out to support the issue not Srk but human rights. What was right. Srk mentioned in earlier interview, Don't support me for their political purpose.

as for bachchans, his blog was i think 2 or 3 days back and shiv sena has been threatning the movie and is against srk for more than a week now. They are def hypocrites and showing that openly, not that i expected them to support him or anything. But this statement of buddha bachchan was def his indirect wayy to show his support. Like puja bhatt said, "people are finally seeing the real side to these so called superstars, and finally realizing that these big stature actors in real life are far from the charecters they play"

I agree, if aamir and salman wanted they could had used Srk name during their movie promotion but they didn't.

exactly zareena, both salman and amir movies have been released. And nothing they do right now is going to change the fate of their movies. Plus both Amir and salman openly disapproved srk's act of Newark airport last year, caz they felt he was wrong. and this time, they feel he is right.

Pata nahi kya sach hai.. kya jhooth hai.. kaun kiska dost hai? kaun kya hai.. Our societies are based on ambiguity.. the ones the press that shows us all this stuff and tells us all these stories.. what is their credibility? People try to escape their stressful lives by watching movies.. they try to spoil that too. Why are statements made by an actor such a focal point of national discussion? He is just an actor.. for gods sake.. When you see opinions of an actor becoming headline news day after day.. then you have to realize that something is wrong! And then a political party which lost badly gets the idea that why him?? We also deserve to be headline news up there... Lets trash him.. so that we can regain our lost ground.. or atleast grab headlines.. So now they come in and make complete fools of themselves.......and this circus goes on and on and on.. Till media gets a new headline..

I guess you cannot blame Amitabh. He's been always close to Thakrey/SS. Either amitabh is Naive and didn't understood political games or vice versa. The video explains a lot of things. Amitabh can't go against SS ever. If he can apologize on Jaya's behalf then why would he go against SS? Just because he is angry with Srk? But yeah it explains how good relationship Amitabh and Srk shares.

Some of these stars make such stupid statements... if you dont have anything constructive to say dont say it.

Amitabh posted his support for SRK's statement on IPL and his date with Bal Thackeray for Rann, in the same post, did he not? So, SS had already targetted SRK by then. Hence Big B's comment on it.

Either way, Amitabh is free to support whoever. And I'm free to critisize who he's supporting, esp. if the one he's supporting is a Thackeray...whom akha mumbai is sick of.

And I disliked what SRK did last summer, with the whole detention drama. But this is a different case. No way is it possible for SRK to have planned this. He's not an idiot, to risk his movie, his family etc for the sole purpose of promotion.

Last thing, I'd like it if we could discuss things in a civil way. There's no need to call members "losers" and "morons". Thank you.
