Good for Kat.. She is pulling off miracles.. and having a dream run at box office and bolly.. everyone wants to work with her.. just a few years ago people were laughing at her (they do it even now) but slowly she is emerging as the most Wanted despite all the odds..

I do not think Kat can act well, infact I think she is quite behind in that department but I would give her brownie points for acknowleding that she has not yet even achieved much, which is true.

She has star power definitely and she's quite beautiful. She's definitely lucky because most movies she stars in end up being box office hits.

As for Shahid, he has just started to show off acting chops. It's not like he is Aamir Khan. It's little wonder he wants to work with her. Who doesn't? 😛

I love Pankaj Kapoor. I think he is a fantastic actor, but I have never seen any of his direction work. Considering it's his directorial debut, it wouldn't hurt to have someone like Katrina in the movie.

Unfortunately, there aren't exactly many actresses that have the acting chops to exactly challenge her. I like Sonam, she is good but she needs polishing as well. Other than that, we don't exactly have any exceptional actresses. Rani and Kajol were great but it's not like the directors are lining up to sign them up, unfortunately.

Priyanka is good, Kareena is average but how many movies can they possibly do. So, I think Katrina is here to stay and for some long time to come, unless she decides to marry Salman in the next two years.

I was fine with Katrina (not I ever thought she could act) until they start talking about her being in actual movies that have the potential to be good. She was in candy floss roles and I was fine with that because I could avoid those movies. However, this takes the cake of my patient with Katrina because I was looking forward to Mausam but casting Katrina is the only thing that could actually make me not watch this movie (Edit: I am sure I will not watch this movie then).
