Salman Khan’s Bodyguard Shera father’s passes away due to cancer

Shera, widely known as the loyal bodyguard of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is going through a tough time as he mourns the loss of his father, Shri Sunder Singh Jolly. His father passed away at the age of 88 after fighting a long battle with cancer.

This tragedy comes just four months after Shera had joyfully celebrated his father’s 88th birthday. At that time, Shera had shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing his deep love and admiration for his father. He called him “the strongest man, 'his “inspiration,” and said that his own strength comes from his father. “Happy 88th birthday to the strongest man… My God, my father, my inspiration! Every bit of strength in me comes from you. Love you, Dad, always!” Shera had written.

Shera’s real name is Gurmeet Singh Jolly. He has been working with Salman Khan as his personal bodyguard since 1995, and their bond goes beyond just professional duties. Over the years, Shera has become a trusted part of Salman’s inner circle. Apart from working with Salman, Shera is also the founder of Tiger Security, a security agency that provides protection to several well-known celebrities in the industry.

In 2017, Shera’s security company was given the responsibility to manage the security arrangements for international pop sensation Justin Bieber during his concert in Mumbai. It was a big task, and Shera’s team handled it successfully.

Before entering the world of celebrity security, Shera was an accomplished bodybuilder. He won the Mumbai Junior bodybuilding title in 1987 and also became the runner-up for the Mr. Maharashtra Junior title in 1988. He began his career in the security field in the early 1990s, and eventually became a part of Salman Khan’s team.

More recently, Shera also featured in a television advertisement with Salman Khan, celebrating the festival of Rakshabandhan.
