If only big actors in big commercially viable movies guaranteed success then the hit-to-flop ratio in Bollywood wouldn't have been so dismal. Akki had 4 hits in a row with Kat but once he started working with the "talented" actresses all his films tanked. Ranbeer's BAH had 3 actresses including his beau but all these still couldn't make it a big hit. Either a)Kat has a crystal ball to pick up the movies which are guaranteed hits, b) the other actresses suck at picking the right movies and are woefully dismal in the so-called Luck department or c) there is a numerical majority of the Indian population who like to see Kat on screen (as a show-piece or whatever).

😆😆 You are too cute. I honestly don't care much, because after Rani, I have not found one actress I can call brilliant. I like Priyanka but sometimes I am not sure whether I can call her brilliant either, so I am always in two minds about that. 😳

As long as a movie can entertain me, I have given up on good actresses because that has become a rare species in bollywood, to be quite honest.

Personally, I enjoy comedies the most because after all the stress from my studies, I need a break and can use a few laughs. 😳😆

I don't mind the pairing, infact I think they might even look cute, but NOT IN THIS FILM! I don't mind seeing Shahid with Kat if it's some candyfloss movie, but not in Mausam! This movie is too important to Shahid and his fans! We might not have something against her as such, we just want this movie to be as good as possible! This is not the type of mive that will rely on eye-candy, this is a movie with a good script and good roles, and I'm sorry, but Kat is not capable of that just yet! I don't care if she's pretty or gives hits where all she does is stand around and look pretty, but in this movie the lead actress will not stand around and look pretty! If not casting Kat means the movie flopping, then that's fine with me! As long as it's a quality movie!

And even if Shahid wanted her in it, I don't think Pankaj would go for it cuz he cares too much for the art of cinema!

But this is just my opinion. Everyone else is free to think otherwise.

I think they would look aweful together. But Katrina is a hit machine and apparently people google her night and day. Aur Shahid ka kya kehna....his popularity these days knows no bounds. This movie might just work. If it does, I don't care about other actors but I'll be happy for Pankaj Kapur....his recognition is long overdue.

People, I dont care if Shahid and Kat work in some other movie. Its bound to happen someday, they can work in some masala/eye candy movie, I wont care....well I willl complain but then I'll compromise somehow. The problem is that I dont want them to come together FOR THIS PARTICULAR FILM. This is Shahid's dream film. Shahid's dream film = his fan's dream film. Makes sense?

We want the BEST for this film. Thats why all hell broke loose when he took Ahmed as the choreographer. Ahmed has choreographed other Shahid movies, and none of us cared. But this movie? OH HELLS NO. Kat is pretty and she has star power, agreed, but I dont think she can act. I want an ACTRESS for this movie. I'm saying this on behalf of all Shahid fans, that we reallly want everything to be perfect in this movie. There are some "Shatrina" fans on his forum and they really want to see these two together, but even they are devastated cuz they dont want them to come together FOR THIS MOVIE. Its just Mausam, we're super protective about this movie LOL.
