Le Le Mazaa Le.. Le Le Mazaa Le.... One way to describe WANTED

Story -- Its all about Mumbai underworld and how the top Cop wants the entire underworld belly to be washed out of the city.

Favorite Scenes:

Salman's Introduction: "Trouble Maker Super Killer DEMENTED... Mama Says .. Papa says he is WANTED".... The whole warehouse scenes sets up the tempo pretty good
Salman scene at the bowling alley
Salman & Ayesha's Intro scene and the first gym scene... The whole Mugl-E-Azam Concept
All scenes involving Ayesha-Salman
Salman bashing of MAHESH MANJREKAR
Salman's basketball court scene -- SUPERB... WHAT ATTITUDE!!!
Salman's killing of gangsters just before the interval when Ayesha confesses her feelings to him
Gani Bhai's arrival to Mumbai and his confrontation to Salman the very first time... Everyone touches Gani's shoes for aarshiwad except Salman Khan...
Gani Bhai's scene with police
Salman Khan's train Scene
Pre Climax and Climax

Ayesha Telling Salman that she is more afraid of him than gangsters!

Didn't like:
Dil Leke Song acts as a spoil sports.. Should Have been deleated

Acting :

Salman Khan -- The film is all about Salman Khan -- His Character's attitude and anger... Boy Salman passes in flying colors in acting.... SUPERB... A role which suits him to the T.. As said earlier.. WANTED is Salman Khan... Salman Khan is WANTED

Prakash Raj -- He was hillarious as Gani bhai. Some of his dialogues and scenes are the highlights in the film, He mixes the evilness and comedy to perfection! The entire theatre was guffawing away during his scenes.

Mahesh Manjrekar... is in top form as the slimy , lecherous cop.

Ayesha Takia -- Ayesha has never looked so beautiful and HOT but simple in any of her films before then she is looking in WANTED... Her portrayal of the simple middle class girl is excellent

Music : Jalwa

This film is MASALA at its best.. It gives you romance, drama... action.. emotions and on top it WORKS!

Go For It... Just go in there and ENJOY the show... Paisool Vasool.. and A MUST FOR SALMAN KHAN FAN!!! He is in TOP FORM

Rating: 4/5!!!

Here Is My Review Guys.....
First of all i am a great fan of Prabhu Deva in form of his dancing and acting and the real person he is....and when he directed Pokkiri in tamil i became a fan of his direction too....i am so glad he directed his blockbuster hit Pokkiri in Hindi with Salman Khan......i was always a fan of Prabhu Deva....he is a very nice human being.....
Now The Review Of The Movie....
If anyone perfect for arrogant hitman role is none other than Salman Khan....this movie credit goes to the whole team of Wanted but mostly for Salman Khan....at the age of 44 and he is doing such stunts is very difficult and dancing too i salute for him for the hardwork he puts on the movie....its totally a Salman Khan Movie all the way
He played the role Radhey Mohan as the arrogant hitman and police officer to the perfect T.....What an attitute...What a style...What a charm...What a charisma...he totally takes my breath off....noone could have done this role....Salman is the perfect man for the role...he talk mostly with his eyes....he is very intense and passionate in the movie...his eyes spoke all the volumes and also the shirt and vest he wears in the film he just suits Salman's personality
Ayesha looks so beautiful in the movie and she was very good in the movie....In Tamil Version Asin was doing the role and i thought only Asin can do this role in the hindi version but i was wrong Ayesha was perfect in the role.....and also she acted so wonderfully i love the part when she was confessing her love to Salman after seeing all the bloodshed she cried so much that was a wonderful scene by Ayesha and also Salman-Ayesha looks great together and i love the love story it was so cute as well as funny
Prakash Raj....what can i say about this man he is just all rounder love him.....i can never hate him at all he was so good as Gani Bhai in his evil form and his comedy...he is just all rounder....even in Tamil Version he rocked and in Hindi Version he just mesmerise
Mahesh Manjrekar was good too....as the corrupt policeman
Direction Of Prabhu Deva: I have no words to express he done a brilliant job......and also Prabhu Deva did a miracle which none of the directors worked with Salman did in 20 years....he brought out the real Salman who is very intense and passionate and also making him dance so well....i have no words for the direction and choreography
Music is nice my favs would be Jalwa...Love Me Love Me....Le Mazaa Le....Dil Leke.....Salman dance so well in the Jalwa...Love Me and Le Mazaa Le songs...i have never seen him dancing like that for all the movies i have watched of Salman's all thanks to Prabhu Deva for bringing out the real side of Salman's acting and dancing......
I love the dance when in Love Me Salman did a Michael Jakson move with his blazer...the choreography of this song was awesome....and also the collar dance of Jalwa he danced amazingly here and Prabhu Deva joining him for the dance thats the best part of the movie and also in Le Mazaa Le there is this dance when Salman takes out his hankerchief and dance with the girl by curving his body thats a great move....it was A class choreography.....its proof to some who says Salman can't dance they should see this movie to see how Salman dance and that would shut their mouth for good....
Action of the movie is just awesome.....I just love the action and dialogues are amazing
My Stars For This Movie 5/5.....
i have seen in Tamil Version but i will not compare it because Vijay did his own style and Salman did his own style there was so much difference the way they portray their roles as Suryamoorthy Aka Tamizh(Vijay) and Radhey Mohan(Salman Khan)......i could not even see one similarity in it they both portray the role with their own style of attitute and charisma.....this movie was a fav in tamil version and now the hindi version goes in the list......
Fav Scenes
Salman Introduction Scenes With The Fight
Salman-Ayesha First Meet
Salman-Ayesha Lip Scenes
Salman-Ayesha Elevator Scenes With The Mughle-E-Azam...Salman looks so cute in there

Ayesha feels the presence of Salman so she calls him up and he lies to her that he is outside a post office and she gets to know the truth that he is not in the post office
Salman's train action scenes where he saves Ayesha and her brother and Ayesha telling him that she is more scare of him then the goons but what she can do as she loves him alot and they hug....Salman's intense eyes worth watching

Wanted Review - Unwanted Trash

18 Sep, 2009

A piece of junk.

No less.

Bollywood movie Wanted has none of the charm that made its Tamil ancestor Pokiri a watchable movie for us when it debuted in January 2007.

Pokiri was tolerable for us because of South Indian hero Vijay's decent efforts, some nice music and our desperation those days for a watchable Tamil movie

Alas, Wanted has nothing going for it even though it shares the same director (Prabhudeva) and villain (Prakash Raj) with Pokiri.

Same Story, Different Results
At 44, Salman Khan looks too old for this kind of young action hero role.

Worse, the aging, balding bachelor seems to put little effort into his performance these days going by the finished product.

Salman can't dance. His acting is below par. The music in his recent movies is plain awful.

Bottomline, the fella would be doing everyone a favor if he'd only retire and count his paisa.

But the bloke refuses to do that and continues to hound the audience with one trashy movie after another.

Salman's recent movies God Tussi Great Ho, Yuvvraaj and now Wanted are all bereft of even the most basic artistic elements.

Following the Pokiri story, Salman Khan is cast as a thug beating and killing rivals.

In Wanted, blood and gore are his constant companions. The stunt scenes are the crude nonsense that one is subjected to usually in Tamil movies.

It's sad that Bollywood has succumbed to the drivel of one-man beating to pulp a dozen guys that it eschewed a while ago.

Sure, there's a twist. But since we were aware of it, it did little for us.

Further, Vinod Khanna's performance in the crucial encounter with Doni Gani (Prakash Raj) was hideously bad. Nasser and Prakash Raj handled the same confrontation far better in Pokiri.

Ayesha Takia plays our hero's love interest.

Ayesha, like most of her Bollywood peers, wouldn't be able to spell acting if her life depended on it.

Not surprisingly, the camera focuses on her ample bosom on more than one occasion. By the way, Ayesha's bathycolpian figure put us off given her slim contours.

Pathetic Music
Not a single song in Wanted has any merit.

Just mediocre stuff. As for the picturization of the songs, let's not even go on that dirty track.

Waste Not Your Money or Time
Overall,Wanted is a piece of trash, the kind that Salman Khan has specialized in delivering lately.

Folks, think not twice. If any movie deserves the heave-ho, it's Wanted.

By all means, show it the middle finger and you're the winner for it.

Review : Wanted
(Action)
Anupama Chopra. Consulting Editor, Films, NDTV
Friday, September 18, 2009
Cast: Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia Azmi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Asseem Merchant
Director: Prabhu Deva
Producer: Boney Kapoor

Special: Wanted

Wanted
, directed by ace choreographer Prabhu Deva who also made the Tamil version of the film, is a senseless, noisy, gratuitously violent movie - the kind that you thought you had left behind in the 1980s. Salman Khan plays Radhey, a super-cool tapori who is described by his friends as "Rocky ka baap, Terminator ka nana, the last action hero".

Our hero shoots, stabs and crunches bones for a living. He works for various gangs. Of course this isn't quite what it seems and we have an end twist that justifies his violence. I couldn't keep track of the many villains but they are all, without fail, seriously unattractive, loud and dumb.

One bad guy, who likes silky suits, screams: "Main international don hoon, don". Another draws his nefarious plans on a blackboard with chalk.

The mind-numbing violence that these men engineer is interspersed with Radhey's love story with a call center employee, played by Ayesha Takia, who is either doing aerobics or being mauled by men.

Women are routinely brutalized in Wanted. At one point, the villain directs his men to gang rape the police commissioner's daughter, saying that he must hear her screams. The men don't do much better. Most end up broken or dead.

Wanted is what film trade pundits routinely describe as a movie for the masses. But I'm not sure who will find this tedious parade of dialogue-baazi and blood entertaining.

Yes, there is plenty here for action buffs, including a ripped, shirtless Salman going on a killing spree in the climax. The rest of us should just steer clear.

Wanted Review

Wanted is huge, both for Salman Khan and the industry still recovering from the disastrous first half of the year. With Salman going all out marketing the action flick, directed by Prabhu Deva, the hype is immense. But with hype comes expectations, does Team Wanted manage to live up...?

Frankly, Wanted lacks a gripping storyline.. It's just a plot written to accommodate those numerous action sequences. Here is a brief.. Radhe (Salman Khan), a hardcore criminal works for an international gangster Gani Bhai (Prakash Raj). With the crime in the city of Mumbai increasing by the day, police officer Ashraf Khan (Govind Namdeo) is hell bent on cleaning the city. Janhvi (Ayesha Takia), a young pretty girl, falls in love with Radhe. What unfold are loads of action with a touch of romance..

Wanted is a mixed bag; the action sequences are great and so are the performances but the runtime, music, half-baked love angle and a lot more ensures it falls way short of expectations.

While the music is below average, it's the songs that prove to be sleeping pills and Salman Khan dancing around trees is hard to digest. Bollywood is desperately in need of younger 'superstars'.

There is one surprise in store though, the top acting honor should undoubtedly go to Prakash Raj who is outstanding in what sadly was a role limited to the later portions of the second half. Wanted though is a Salman Khan movie and the actor delivers a knockout performance. An act that should silence his critics. His body language, style, dialogue delivery all spot on for a change. Ayesha Takia has nothing to do, the others are okay.

To sum up, Wanted works in parts and mainly due Salman Khan. Scenes involving Prakash Raj are also amongst the highlights of this lengthy action masala entertainer.

Wanted :

Wanted enjoys great sunday with many packed single screens and Very good multiplexes run. It saw upto 15% upward trend on sunday at multiplexes and single screens at most of places(even at north india) get housefull boards. Sunday figures should be in range of 8 crore.

Dil Bole Hadippa :

DBH was steady at multiplexes with upto 5% drop at some multiplexes and upto 10% increase in business somewhere. However overall business should be in range of saturday numbers.
