I was just going to ask, I need to convince someone that Kajol rejected KANK, and Rani was then given her role and Preity was roped in for Rani's role. So can anyone please post in some artciles or videos of where this has been mentioned by a reliable source? Can someone please help me! I really need to prove that this news is true!! BY A RELIABLE SOURCE

i think kajol some what said this on koffee with karan when she was with rani n srk..dont remember exactly..but indirectly yeah..:)

arey karan said in many interviews tht for his each and every movie his first choices are always kajol and shahrukh except for one kal ho na ho where his first choice was kareena..and she rejected becoz of price.

It was mentioned in the Koffee with Karan fist seson FINALE with Amitabh, Shahrukh, and Kajol. They are talking about how they are upset she is coming back with fanaa. I think Kajol was also approached for kal ho na ho but she had just given birth. Karan had to convince her that he would only shoot her close up just to get her to guest star in mahi ve- because she felt so out of shape

Karan wanted Kajol in KHNH and KANK but she refused both. Even Shahrukh wanted Kajol in Chalte Chalte but she refused due to parenthood. you can find many articles on Google just type Kajol refused kank and on youtube.com type same. As above member said, Karan and Srk were upset and on second season of first episode of Koffee with Karan, Kajol mentioned how much Shahrukh was upset when she refused kank.

I would have LOVED to see her in kal ho na ho and/or chalte chalte! SRk said that she herself had offered to do chalte chalte after the ashwariya mishap, but he knew she was pregnant and it would have been hard on her, especially after the miscarriage post k3g. I think that is also why ash isnt too fond of kajol anymore either.
