honestly, this has been blown out of proportion...

i'm disappointed with the way this has been handled... we all know this happens and that proves from what the 'other khans' had to say in the matter, including salman... it happens with everyone, including most asians... yes, muslims are a majority after 9/11, but that's that... nothing can be changed about that...

i'm glad that SRK has called anther conference to calm things down... i hope the matters will be resolved quickly... and as for him making a fool out of his fans, don't all celebs do that... and people are not that much of fools as others make us out to be...! i can't help but roll my eyes at that statement... i'm a huge srk fan but i'm certainly not blinded... nor do i think this merits bad wishes for him... (it's actually another thread i am referring to here, but i have no wishes or intentions to answer in every single thread that is actually the SAME matter)... it's sad...

i would've actually criticized him more if i had not seen some responses which i deem uncalled for...!!

p.s. also, not that i approve of what SRK has done, but since when did the moderators themselves start to indulge in it and advocate bashing...?? as it is, there's a fine line between criticism and bashing and i would've thought that our senior moderators would have better sense about the difference... whom should i report that to...? 🤔

What is the need to call a press conference and then say he understands why they did it and 'it is okay'. First he makes such a hue and cry abt it and then he backtracks!

And the stupid media needs to calm down as well. All the major newschannels headlines today was ' SRK returns from US'. (People, hes returning from US , not Mars 😕)

i completely agree... however, considering how worse the matter had become, he HAD to call a press conference to calm things down...

i just want it resolved, that's it...!

and honestly, what i'm more ticked about is the way this whole situation has been handled... it got blown up for no reason.. i wish srk had handled it in a better way... i'm extremely disappointed...

but i am equally sad to see people wishing bad things for him... that's just as immature... that's just my own opinion... even i criticize many actors, but i don't appreciate snide remarks that clearly are bashing... which did put me in rather bad mood, i have to confess...!!

What news, do you believe the source of news? ?? Did she say that on any channel, I am sure she is smart enough not to get into this.

SRK is exposed thats fact, how many times he came to US before, why just before THE movie all the cry??? Things are different in all part of world and with Independence parade and all for Pak and India, I believe the they did right in being extra precautional.

SRK is such a baby, he wants all, first they asked him to stay for less than hour and he made it 2 hours. And then un neccessairy brough this religion issue, and cried for help calling his mommy Congress😭😭

Okayyyyyyyyyyyy!😆I know people have their own opinions but SERIOUSLY?😆

Lets face facts people...He is the biggest star of the country right now...and has been from a long time. And yea what's the big deal on him saying "I am too big a star for that?"...he IS a too big of a star for that!😆😆What's wrong with him saying it? That does not make him a criminal yaar, nor does it make him a bad person...people are just going crazy about this!😆😆...its so hilarious to me... And why in the world will he need publicity for his movie? There are enough reasons to watch the movie.They don't need publicity like this to promote the movie.I mean come on!!!!. Even when the day of the release comes closer,if they don't promote they movie people are STILL going to go see it. WHY? Well, first, Its a SRK movie, people like me, will go and watch it just cuz well its a SRK movie, DUH😆. Second, Its has KAJOL in it, people are not going to miss this. Third, Its a KARAN JOHAR movie. Fourth, the title is so different "My name is khan"..and so on. you get my point.

If a regular guy had this whole "detention thing" would it get this much attention?no it wouldn't. Would US make a statement or try to clarify on this? no they won't. BUT when this happened to a star this situation got attention and so on. And yea, i completely agree that this happens to almost everyone that has the last name Khan. For example, like my friend in india, her last name is Khan...she comes here(usa) to visit me EVERY summer...and EVERY summer she has to spend minimum 2 hours in the airport...and that's just minimum.There is a difference between being caution and being completely idiotic...its TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much.Yea, its unfortunate but more than that its so humiliating/scary/pathetic/hurtful for her to know that as SOON as she has landed she knows what is going to happen. See, to people who have not or should i say people who most probably will not go through this situation think, "what's the big deal? it happen to so many people." Yea, very true that it happens to a lot of people but this situation does not get so much attention...and now that it has got attention...why is everyone on FIRE?😕...If this had happen to someone else and not SRK and there was an article about it...most probably people will not even read the whole article and that news would be replaced by some other news. But since it happen to SRK its getting attention!!! Its suppose to be a GOOD thing that its getting attention...but people are on FIRE and i don't get why...i guess you don't really know how one feels unless you have been through it too. Right?

And yea everyone that has been through it is angry and SRK has the right to be angry too. I am sooo very mad at this whole situation.When i travel with my friend whose last name happens to be Khan sometimes even I have to answer these useless questions...its completely completely idiotic!!!! You know why?...Mostly because i am ANGRY,HURT and sick and tired that whenever i take a trip to go somewhere with my friends i have to book a ticket thinking if we have to get there at 5:00. SO, We will have to book a ticket that will take us there at 2:00.😡...SO that's the truth!!!!!!! Its US who has face the Biggest terror act in the history... Ppl lost lives , its very natural for the country to behave that way... because its them who are facing this problem... Its US not India

what have we done after the Mumbai attracts ... well nothing , soldiers and police officers lost lives .. along with alot of innocent ppl and children .. we have done nothing to prevent it frm happing again...

Hats off to a country like US who have put they life in securing the county... that another terrorist can never do what they have done.

SRK is a butt of jokes in US media.... He has made a totally fool of himself.

And for example Senator Edward Kennedy was on the no fly list. If anyone is familiar with U.S. politics, he is probably one of the most illustrious senators in recent history and he was stopped at Logan Airport in Boston and questioned numerous times. But he did not indulge in such histrionics. The Kennedy family is so well respected in Massachusetts and he could have gone into hysterics, but he understood what conditions are like and took care of it in a dignified manner. That is all I will say.:D
