i cant believe its shahrukh himself the man who used to be free from controversies....but if its all for his movie...then its really cheap and horrible get a life SRK

I was watching cnn today and the guy who was giving the story on cnn was saying "was he detained or was he just saying all this just for publicity stunt oh by the way for his new movie based on profiling" and he winked a few times and kinda rolled his eyes like Shah rukh had just done this for publicity.

A number of Indians, whether Muslims, Hindus or Christians have been subjected to secondary questioning. In fact, former president Dr. Kalam, George Fernandes and Pranab Mukherjee have also been subjected to scrutiny. Talking of bollywood stars, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh among others have gone though secondary questioning. How come no one heard of it. Just because SRK is a Big bollywood star, the issue has been hyped. He could have easily downplayed it, but chose to go with the flow, adding more fuel to fire.

Talking of srutiny, pop icon Bob Dylan was asked to produce his ID papers by cops too young to know him. They let him go after the hotel authorities vouched for him. This happened in the US and he is an American. Wonder how people would have reacted if Lata Mangeshkar was subjected to this in India.

He was NOT held for 2 hours it was for 66 mins.
He was NOT questioned thru out that time - half that time was spent in routine waiting and tracking his luggage. Almost every Asian entering the US these days is questioned for 20 to 30 mins so big deal if SRK had to go thru what a normal person does. In India , the people doing the morcha etc have no idea what the US process is yet they protest against it. To answer your question, think 9/11 before that date there was none of this crap.

Honestly this seems like nothing but a publicity gimmick I have recently travelled to and fro India and the minute I landed in Chicago our baggage was checked and rechecked 4 times and only then were we allowed to board our next flight.

Even in India we went through 3 security checks one was right outside our plane they rechecked us before we boarded.

Security has been tightned in every country be it India or America it is technically for our own safety so I think we should stop complaining. My cousin was strip searched on his way from America to Mexico and he is a Sikh (he doesn't wear a turban) but he laughed it off. The media and SRK need to chill he might be the king in India but outside of India he is a normal man!
