you know LAK is done and i am sure it will be good for deepika because i like how imtiaz writes his female characters.

the people who will be really hurt by saifeena's PDA over their films are Saif and his production house. any actress approached for a film by illuminati will wonder whether she should go ahead lest kareena decides to "help" with promotions.

actually the only person who i feel sorry for is dinesh vijan - i thought he was saif's partner in the production house not kareena.

I don't know what big crime Kareena committed by talking about LAK.
Maybe some people believe the moment Kareena said something about LAK -
1. Imtiaz will decrease Deepika's role in the movie.
2. Deepika gets ousted from the film, posters etc and Kareena will magically replace her.
3. People who read this article will actually go to the theatre thinking its Kareena who is in the film and even though Deepika is there they'll see Kareena only.

Can't understand how people can be so insecure. When people go to see the film and if Deepika gives a great performance, they'll be impressed no matter what. It's not as if Kareena will get the appreciation for Deepika's performance.

LAK is Saif's first production not some random film where he's the actor only. Saif had previously said they are practically married hence its not wrong if Kareena has a sense of belonging to LAK. I bet if she remained silent on LAK, people here would say she's jealous that Deepika is in the film hence she isn't talking about it.

Did she say anything bad about LAK or Deepika's performance? NO.
Did she say if she was in the film it would have been better? NO.

So I can't understand how the hell is Kareena talking about LAK a problem for others.

Hats off to Terenaina for reacting positively to this article...she understands that in the end Deepika will get her due no matter what.

this topic has sort of been done to death before and i know it will be hard for us to see each other's POV given are biases. none of those things you mentioned will happen, but it is unprofessional and rude to stick yourself in the PR of a film that really has nothing to do with you. its not fair to the people involved who have done the actual hard work. no one appreciates being overshadowed by the boss's wife/gf whether its in the actual film or just the buzz about it. this article has come out after months of speculation in the media about the whole issue and still kareena does not get how she might be affecting other people negatively.

like i said in my post in the long term this won't affect deepika, but it might affect other actresses' decisions to work with illuminati, which affects saif and therefore kareena. i think it would be in both of their interests to start behaving like adults.

Like I have said, there's no question for Deepika to be overshadowed by Kareena since she is not in the movie. If Deepika's performance works big time, then ONLY she will get appreciation NOT Kareena so there's no question of being unfair to her. It's not like Kareena is insisting to have a special role in it or item number.
Talking of the film again, it's not just a random film for Saif where he's the only actor only but his FIRST production as well. If Saif was doing a film for another producer and Kareena was talking about it then it would be unfair but here its THEIR first production so feeling close to it is not wrong.
And with Kareena talking about LAK, I can't see how it will harm Deepika. Like I said ONLY Deepika will get the appreciation.

i don't disagree with you in how this would affect deepika. like i said earlier none of those things would happen.

still i think it is rude for someone to do that. as for the whole first production thing i don't remember gauri, kiran rao jumping in to promote their husband's FIRST PRODUCTION. Kareena is not obligated to do any of this. if ranbir decides to direct/produce a film, and deepika is still with him i pray to god that deepika does not act the way kareena has. otherwise i would be very pissed at her.

yes you are right that if the film does well, and deepika performs well she will get all the appreciation. that still does not make it alright for kareena to insert herself in the film. that is just my opinion.

Well if Gauri or Kiran decide not to promote their husband's first production then it doesn't mean Kareena shouldn't either. If Kareena feels close to the film and want to talk GOOD things about it then I see no problem. It's not as if Kareena is giving statements about how she would have performed better than Deepika if she was in LAK.

Yeah best of luck to LAK...I read a member's review on another forum who gave it 4.5/5. Hopefully more positive reviews will follow in.LAK will definitely be a great film with Imtiaz Ali at its helm...definitely way better than KI and Luck.
