I want Love Aaj Kal to break all records: Kareena

^Agent007 I think the compliments given by Kareena are sweet, and I don't think any of us have an issue with that... It's the fact that she goes around saying: 'For both Saif and me 'Love Aaj Kal' is a not just a prestigious project but also something which is very close to our hearts" or how 'Love Aaj Kal is their baby' that annoys us all'. Well, since Kareena is not credited officially at all in LAK for any sort of help, such statements are counterproductive and moreover difficult to digest. Honestly Kareena is not the only one to give emotional support to Saif, I'm sure when SRK, Aamir Khan produced their first movie they had their respective wife's support. Infact Aamir Khan's wife actually played a role in the film-making process of TZP... But you don't see them going around and saying how the respective movies are totally close to their hearts etc. etc. etc. and taking credit for it... It is simply not in good taste to do that yourself and in a way discredits the people who have actually worked really hard on the film... I wouldn't have minded if Saif or Imtiaz or Deepika praised Kareena for her emotional support, but simply it does not look nice when Kareena shoots her mouth off about herself regarding how Love Aaj Kal is 'her baby' cause it just seems like Kareena's taking a lot of credit for the movie which she hasn't even participated in officially... How would the actual people (like deepika etc.) who HAVE worked hard and participated in the film feel by such a comment! 😕 And mind you, I'm a big Kareena fan! But this time her comments pretty much irritated me to no end.

the people who will be really hurt by saifeena's PDA over their films are Saif and his production house. any actress approached for a film by illuminati will wonder whether she should go ahead lest kareena decides to "help" with promotions.

actually the only person who i feel sorry for is dinesh vijan - i thought he was saif's partner in the production house not kareena.

Oh snap! But in all seriousness, let's concentrate on someone, who actually produced the film. And someone I am a bit fond of. So I'll post a pic of Dinesh Vijan to lighten up the atmosphere.

Maybe I'm blind but I don't see Kareena saying anywhere in this article that LAK is her baby 😕 I think she once said its equally their baby or something like that.Yes she said its close to their hearts so what's wrong with that??? This film is directed by Imtiaz, the man who gave her JWM and is the first production of Saif so is it wrong if she feels the film is close to her? She was the one who recommended Imtiaz to Saif so having a special connection to this film is not a crime I guess.And whats so annoying about it? Did she say that without her support or help LAK would not have been great? NO. She only mentions LAK is close to her and wants it to do well even then people want to jump on her. 🤢

Every individual is distinct and if Amir and SRK's wives didn't talk about their husbands' films then it doesn't mean Kareena shouldn't also.And I don't see her taking CREDIT for LAK anywhere so its wrong to say that. She didn't say LAK wouldn't have been the same without her anywhere so I don't see how it can hurt others when she says LAK is close to her heart and she wants it to break all records 😕

She IS, unintentionally perhaps, taking credit for the film! Because its not her work at all! And because of that it in a way disrespects other people who've participated in the film, because its definately more of their film than Kareena's. So I find that wrong! I think its sweet and completely heartening that she wants the film to succeed, and she's playing her part of the supportive girlfriend well, but all those comments about how its her baby, her film etc. puts a bad taste in my mouth.

51 pages??? 😲 I wasn't here when that topic was discussed but clearly some comments there again prove how people just love to bash her.
Then I would simply say it depends on how you want to view her comment because I don't see how she is taking credit or wants to convey that LAK is her film in the sense that she was majorly responsible for the way LAK turned out to be. I've never said that the fact that she recommended Imtiaz to Saif makes it her film but this together with other reasons I mentioned above shows the emotional value she has to the film hence calling it close to her or her baby.

Like I said, really happy for the entire cast, as well as kareena, coz she did support him emotionally the entire way. And for her, she sees it as her partner's debut venture, not deepika and saif's movie. She would have been reacting the same way had karisma opened up a production house, lol
That's the main difference. Its saif's production house, and shes looking at it that way.
I didnt see her calling Race, or TPTM close to her heart. This one obviously is.

^^Agent007 & desigal, I disagree with you both, however I concede to the fact that our difference of opinion depends a lot on how we both want to view her comment... I want to view her comment in one way, and you want to in another way! So lets agree to disagree!

And yes I too think some people went a bit overboard with the bashing of Kareena in that topic which was truly uncalled for...

I dont understand at ALL why Kareena fans cant leave other ppls comment as their opinion! There are quotes happening all over the places of every individual! That makes Saifeena so much more irritating than ppl may actually find them to be! Their fans! Awwwhhhhh!! Forget it!! Kareena can be irriating to others...wats so hard for fans to understand that!

Saif was proved wrong by VB wen he said in the interview that the film was never offered to anyone but Shahid and Saif was like I am FORCED to say Kaminey was offered to me first. Wat a bullshit thing to say man. So immature! But I didnt see any Saifu/eena fan coming there and saying why did he say that/he was wrong. WHY? Cause their fan love is blind? Same way, wen others dont like Kareena comments, their fans can act like adults and not quote and let them bee!! SIGHS! Irritating!!!!!!!

AND Pls GODDD Help me 😒 and Let everybody know to PLS not quote me! I cant handle the no-reason-quotings! 😵

Look at comments in the 1st page - the topic is about Kareena talking about LAK but here people talk about her lips job, in how many years she is marrying, that she didn't long to dump Shahid, that she talked craps and giggled too much in Koffee with Karan etc......What connection does this have to this topic???? Then they'll be like "Oh I don't understand why is there a need to defend Kareena so much" This is just damn annoying.

Talking about the Saif - Kaminey article wasn't there an article http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1217215 where Vishal said "Kisne manaa kia tha? (Who had asked them not to be part of the film?) They got busy with other things and we moved on. I would like to work with them again." ?? Surprisingly some people turned a blind eye to this 😕
