Sunil Shetty's griping tale of Naxalism in his forthcoming film Red Alert: The War Within has won the prestigious critic's award at Struttgart Film Fest in Germany.
The film was awarded for its extraordinary realistic approach and real treatment and is hailed as 'the film that will take Indian Cinema to another height in International world Cinema". Red Alert has also received the 'Director's Vision Awards' at the 6th edition of Stuttgart Film Festival 2009. In fact it also got a standing ovation and a 5 star rating by German critics after it was screened as the closing film of the festival.

A packed house comprising of German viewers, critics and festival officials were moved by the spellbinding story of a farm labourer who inadvertently gets trapped in India's notorious Naxalite movement. It changes his life and raises some controversial questions that shakes the very foundations of the system.
