I read somewhere that Karan is dating Ektaa...But on KWK it was obvious that they were very good friends...like buddies...Karan got a very girly thing about him maybe thats the reason he is the butt of many gay jokes.....

Karan Johar thinks Farhan Akhtar is 'pretty'

Karan Johar (pictured left) complimented host Farhan Akhtar by calling him "pretty" while recording for the fun-with-a-celeb show "Oye! It's Friday".

Farhan thought Karan was talking about Shamita Shetty who also on the show, which will air on Friday on NDTV Imagine.

"But Karan clarified he was calling Farhan pretty. At first Farhan didn't know how to react. But then he quickly caught hold of himself - he's not acknowledged now as a terrific actor for nothing - and then the rest of the show became an impromptu 'Dostana' with Farhan and Karan doing what John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan did in the film," a source close to the show told IANS.

To add to the 'gay' atmosphere, Kantaben (Sulabha Arya), who trembled with homophobia all through "Kal Ho Naa Ho", was brought in as a phone-in friend.

"And they asked her what she thought of 'Dostana'. Sulabha said she loved it. She raved about the film for a while. Only later did Karan and Farhan realise the lady was talking about the old 'Dostana' with Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha," the source said.

At some point, Farhan wanted to know who among the actors were Karan's 3 a.m. friends.

"And Karan laughed. He said he would never call any star so early in the morning because you never know what they'd be doing at that time… Throughout the show Karan joked openly about 'Dostana', homophobic people, John's physique, etc. Lately, he has been showing a great deal of comfort with matters of sex and sexuality. It shows in his cinema and in his public conduct and utterances."

Wow...I certainly am not up to speed with the links-ups. So Tushaar and Manish are together, but Manish and Urmila are just for the public? And Karan is now out of the picture and with Ritesh?? Okay wow😆
