WILL JIAH REPLACE KANGNA IN ‘KITES’

Rakesh Roshan's much-hyped 'Kites' starring his son Hrithik and Himalayan beauty Kangana Ranaut has been going very slowly since its inception. First, Hrithik got injured during the shooting and was advised rest. So, the shooting was deferred. Two, Kangana got upset with the film's Mexican import Barbara Mori hogging all the limelight even though major role was first assigned to her. This is another matter that neither Rakesh Roshan nor Hrithik had ever desired Kangna to play the pivotal role. In fact, the director Anurag Basu had favored her for the role. The controversy grew further when Kangna left the film's unit stranded for a couple of days during its first schedule. Not only that even later Kangna absented herself from the few unit meetings called by the director though Sr. Roshan and Hrithik attended them. Significantly, she hasn't even bothered to get her designer's work approved either by the director or the producer as she had been given the liberty to hire her own designer. Industry circles wonder if the producer or the director would allow this situation to continue and not immediately replace Kangana with Jiah Khan before the movie gets further delayed.
