Exactly! That is the popular perceptions isnt it? Well I've dug quite deep into this entire fiasco, more so for my own reassurance than anyone else's. I cant be a fan of a heartless person. So I had to dig deep and find out that is this girl that i admire so much, really this fickle and shallow? Trust me girl, I know every article that has come out about this. I know which news paper first published the story, and I know that all the other media channels JUMPED at the same story, recycled it in ten differnet ways, and then printed it out with different sources. THe stories included Saif and kareean swimming in hotel pools at midnight. OF them "doing it" in the bathrooms at filmfare functions, and many disgusting bits that I wont even go into.
All claimed by...sources. Which sources, they dont know.
Here I'm reassured coz I KNOW where the info is coming from. These are trusted friends. Why would they make this up? Two of them arent even kareena fans, one is a neutral journalist, and one just told me this story coz she went to India this previous December and Jan and that's where she found this info out.
The truth is, there are ppl inside the industry who know what went on, but never bothered to come out and say anything.
And a lot of what was said in these stories does coincide with what i observed.
For example: The bit about shahid yelling at her behind the scenes of KWK seems true because even ON the show he got pissed when karan asked him that question.
Kareena DID stop workign with fardeen after she started going out with shahid,a nd after the Rockstars concert, she stopped talkign to Salman as well. And is it a coincidence that salman refused to even make a guest appearancein their movie Milnege Milenge when he agreed upon it at first an then as soon as kareean breaks upwith shahid, she signed salman's MAMK? I mean that does show that shahid had a huge hand in determining who she worked iwth and who she didnt.
I've HEARD shahdi in various interviews, meakly claiming that the break up was "mutual". Yet I see him making digs at her in other interivews and in one he even was quoted saying, "I'm lucky that the media is on my side, but there are no sides..." blah blah blah. So he was aware that hte media had very mcuh taken sides. Yet he refused to stand up for his ex and never bothered to CLEARLY state that the break up was mutual. If he wanted, he coudl ahve. But eveyroen believes that he was dumped and he played upon that factor for quite a whlie. What with acting sullen in all his interviews, looking like the jilted lover.
And indeed if they broke up six months before he went to canada, which is what I believed in to begin with, then he had no right to be making digs at her, or at saif, or at them as a couple.
And I do believe that that girl waited till hte last instant for shahid to return. There were so many isntances when it was clear that hse had no yet moved on, even while she was with saif.

Its pretty obvoius she had not completely let go of her past. But she never showed her pain. If I witnessed any tragic feelings from her side, they were not because they were plastered on her face for the cameras to see. They were witnessed in vulernable moments that some cameras captured. Like the interview, this behind the scenes capture.
