Salma Ansari, wife of the Vice President of India, Hamid Ansari has personally invited Kangana Ranaut to dinner on Friday

Kangana Ranaut's professional life is going great guns. After starring in a spate of successful films, the actress now seems to have admirers everywhere.

And one of Kangana's ardent admirers is Salma Ansari, wife of the Vice President of India, Hamid Ansari. Salma Ansari called up the actress and invited her for dinner at her residence.

A source said, "Yesterday, Kangana received a call from the Vice President's office.

It was a call from Salma Ansari who began the conversation by gushing about how big a fan she is of the actress and how much she appreciates her work. Mrs Ansari went on to add that she wanted to personally meet Kangana.

Since Kangana is currently in Delhi to promote her forthcoming film, Raaz - The Mystery Continues, Salma invited Kangana over for the dinner."

Kangana was pleasantly surprised by Salma's phone call. The actress immediately thanked Salma and accepted her warm invitation.

Although Kangana was reluctant to divulge any details about her conversation with Salma Ansari, she confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I have been invited to dinner by Salma Ansari and I am looking forward to it.

I am honoured to receive such a prestigious invitation."

The dinner will be held on Friday. Buzz is that a screening of Raaz-The Mystery Continues will also be held during the dinner party.
