Raj of DDLJ!! --Not to mention that the role being essayed by SRK added icing to the cake! The character was a take a chance type of guy and lived life with his rules not caring what others thought...I liked the thrill of adventure that he brought into Simran's life [knowingly/unknowingly] and best part was he knew his limits and knew what Simran's honor meant to her Yeh get what you mean about Raj he was a fun kind of guy and yet never stepped over the line..definetly livened up simrans life.

Jai of JTYJN-- Although a shy non-violent type, it was kinda hot how he got angry at the guy at the end and knocked his senses out... it proved that although he was a sweet guy, he cared for his love and wouldn't take anyone harming her even if it meant to go out of being himself

Akash of DCH-- Okay, so I have a fetish for carefree guys, but Akash proved himself to be a sweet loveable character at the end of everything...the so called player turn romeo is ultra cute! Hehe who does not like kind of bad boys lol 😉 akashs character was cute definetly and the change.

Simran of DDLJ-- I think she pretty much [not everything] represents the all indian good girl living outside of the motherland... she respects her fathers wishes and is afraid to outstep her boundaries..she has her morals intact but yet doesn't mind a bit of adventure with the right people... a true lover and a good daughter at the same time... Yeh agree about NRI bit she definetly repersents the good side very few NRI characters like hers thats best thing...and well described

Umrao Jaan of Umrao Jaan [Rekha] -- Wow, this woman has gone through about everything in her life and yet she's still standing up, hats of to this character who's traveled a journey all alone and still brave enough to keep going

Vandhana of Aradhna -- A true selfless character who devotes her life to her love and her son and goes through all sorts of hardships to fulfill her late husband's dying wish... even though she gets taunted by the people of the world, she still goes on to prove herself strong yeh she is a good character definetly her and how she brings up her son is the best thing i like about the movie.😊

Also the "Prem" from rajshi films - all the films the character Prem is always quiet similar paticular HAHK - Sweet loving n caring Yeh love the prem characters HAHK is a good choice mine favourite one from HSSH

Well I like the Prems from Rajshri are the great characters really sweet and loveable...Poonam from vivahs character loved how she put others first and loving side and simran from DDLJ like someone said above really cool potrayal of NRI girl. Basanti from sholay is my favourite character all time 😳 soo fun loving and love her fun loving nature and way hema played her made her even better with the horse etc..Jai/Veeru for their friendship.
