I kinda stopped posting here because no one came. But I can't stay away for too long! 😆
Can I say that I absolutely LOVE Bin Kuch Kahe? The way the makers have handled the progression & graph of each character & their relationships has been absolutely delightful & organic. I could go on & on about this seriously but really hats off! Nothing appeals to me on ITV ever since I've started this show.
I am just gonna quickly list some of the things I've loved the past 2 weeks post Kabir's confession of the kind of partner he wants.
1. Kabir baking that cake for Mummy Kohli & asking Rajesh to distribute it to street kids instead of making a big hoohaa about doing something for Mrs Kohli. He'd rather have everyone be happy rather than spoil their moods by outing Rosy. He desires for affection but never asks for it outrightly or tries to prove a point by letting all know about his contributions. He did the same for Myra in jail by staying by her side even if it cost him a slight beating. He is one hell of a silent lover.
2. Myra putting her prejudices aside & seeing Kabir for who he is & admitting it out loud finally that Kabir is protective & caring. Not the egoistic guy she thought of him as. And going against what she has always accused him of.. telling him that he's usually right but was wrong only in the jail incident. Big progress!
3. Nikhil's adorable attempts to affirm Rhea & show off his muscles. And Rhea trying to tempt him with chocolate. Rhea dear, he's finally learnt the game. Now your chocolate aint gonna tempt him because he's aiming for greater things in life. 😆
4. THE PICNIC! That actually deserves a separate post because I LOVED everything about it.
Shekhawat & Mrs Kohli's dance had me in splits. Gotta admit Mrs Kohli's totally got the moves & Shekhawat is one adorable, awkward dork in love. Its so endearing how he goes tongue-tied around Mrs Kohli. Kabir & Myra's scenes right from the Buddhu Sa Mann sequence to him tending to her leg was so romantic in a subtle way. They've come so far! It had the right amount of awkwardness, tension & comfort. They really looked like a couple going on their first date. Myra even blushed & smiled as she looked at Kabir. Kabir too smiled after a long, long time.
5. Aryan. This boy is a rockstar. He is the smartest, sweetest member of the Kohli family. LOVE how he was able to see that Kabir protected Myra in jail & that Kabir likes Myra. Often we think that kids are too innocent so they aren't able to understand the ways of the world, but really sometimes its their very innocence that allows them to see things as they are; in their purest form. Just like the gaze with which Kabir looks at Myra. And Aryan toh is one big baba, like Kabir said. Aryan baba ki jai ho!
6. Kabir shifting from a silent lover & protector in the background to the forefront of the battle, declaring it as war against Akshay. All is fair in love & war as Kabir put it but I love that he's still very much the same. Yes he did try to damage Akshay's car but he does it all so harmlessly that one can't even blame Kabir after all that Akshay's been doing to put Kabir down. Hope that he never changes & remains grounded to his principles.
7. Nikhil & the way he consoled a broken Rhea. Absolutely beautiful. Seriously what more could one desire from a life partner? His constant unwavering love & support for is heartwrenching & makes me really hope that Rhea starts valuing him soon & stops taking him for granted. Sarika's honestly not a bad choice (even though she's just acting)
