Did The Great Khali fail to entertain viewers

Big Boss recently brought in the Great Khali to add some spice to the show. The usual spices of gossips and bitching keeps the viewers all glued to the show. Though this time the stars like Ashmit Patel, Rahul Bhatt, Seema Parihar and Shweta Tiwari seemed to create less ripples initially and were seen like one big happy family and this is when, the Great Khali was sent in expecting to create some spicy stories.

The channel had to pay quite heavily for Khali's maintenance and the producers were badly counting on him to give the audience some heavy dose of drama and entertainment. However, the funny part was that other than his huge size, he turned out to be a very calm and peace loving person who immediately appealed to the housemates and the viewers also accepted him as the nice person inside the house. He is so placid and decent that till date he has hardly created any controversy over the issue of doing the household chores.

However, this is not what the producers were looking forward to. After all, he is the highest paid celebrity inside the house and it was expected that he would do something to raise the TRPs. Only having Khali inside the house wouldn't increase the TRPs. What's the use if he doesn't showcase his barbarism as a WWE fighter? Probably now the producers are in a real fix with Khali, after all they are incurring the prices for bringing him in. However, they can surely expect the viewership to increase as now probably the WWE lovers also watch Big Boss, just to see him workout and flaunt his muscles and physique.
