In some professions, you take an oath, if you break the oath, your license is taken away...The basic belief of Islam is the belief in one God...no if's or buts...if you deny that or break your oath, you are not a muslim or from the above example,your license is cancelled...simple...because they are committing shirk, which means ascribing partners with God...the same God of Moses, Abraham, Jesus and Mohammad.

So see here my friends, Gauhar was not being part of the puja as it is against the basic principle of Islam...some people argue how is her flirting, revealing dresses not against Islam and if she can do that why not do pooja as well...well...Lots of muslims act like Gauhar...thats for God to judge...yes, it is against the teaching of not only Islam but all religions...isn't the virgin Mary always seen wearing a Hijab...but todays christians dont follow the same dress code..does that mean they are not christians?.
Gauhar being an Indian was there...in her Indian outfit...all she did was not do the worship...thats not how "she" worships...why is that wrong?

I have lived in Malaysia...they practice Islam, hinduism and budhism...but never have the muslims been part of the poojas or hindus part of the Eid or other prayers...are they not a diverse country?...to each their own religion...no one is offended if you didnt participate in their form of worship...so I dont understand why is it a concern here...if hindu's can accept more than one God, then its their Faith...I am no one to argue with that...so why argue what Islam allows or not...
Pratyusha believes in some baba,to whom even Andy objected, so if Pratyusha decides to do pooja for that baba, does it mean everyone who doesnt believe in it have to take part in it?
I hope my long boring rant will bring some clarity as to why Gauhar did not participate in the pooja...its the same as why a jew will not pray in a mosque or vice versa...no offense to anyone...i tried to be very careful with my words.😊

Islam is a religion where freedom is not provided to anyone. It preaches hatred and nothing else.

I totally support Gauhar not attending pooja.. It is her right to perform pooja or not.. But if she has done that cos her religion says so than it is totally wrong..

People should not condemn gauhar but the religion of islam itself. It don't teaches right things .. It differentiate between human on basis of his religion .. They even call for execution of non believers ..

Tht is why muslims are always good fearing people while others are god loving people. Their book kuran fills fear inside a person cos of which he fears god and not respect god .. This is ridiculous .. How can a book teach such things and people follow it .. This book should be modified .. Things changes with time and a religion which don't put its teaching in modern perspective tht religion is not worth following ..

How can allah be greater than work .. Allah is a very small thing and should not dictate how a person lives, thinks or behave,,

Religion is a thing which need to be followed at the time of leisure .. If u follow a religion as a necessity than tht is wrong .. No allah no god is bigger than persons individual wish ..

If Islam was to hateful and backward then why are More And More People are Turning to Islam, especially after 9/11. September 11 has led to the media giving Islam a lot of attention. Although, the media has mostly reported negatively about Muslims and Islam, it has made people research about Islam. This has led to many to find the Truth about Islam and More readily accept it as their faith.

search Yvonne Ridley, see how this journalist who read the Quran to find faults in in, ended up embracing it...1.5 billion people are muslims...why do they not see this hatred you speak about...anyways the topic was about Gauhar...and i see there is no point discussing this issue.

People are just concentrating on the part where she did not take part. Did anyone see the part before that? The Jahannum people wanted to touch the frame of Durga Ma to take blessings. Gauahar told Pratyusha to give them the frame after the Pooja was performed. The reason for that, I am quite sure is the fact that it is "that time of the month" for her. She is a smart girl. I don't think religion would be an issue on National TV to not take part in a Pooja. Whereas, "that time of the month" is a perfectly valid reason. Girls do not touch anything related to God or worship during that time generally, atleast here in India. And the minute she told Pratyusha to give them the frame, that is the first thing that came to my head. I mean come on guys! She is a modern girl. No disrespect to her religion, but I don't think being of a different religion was the reason she stayed away.

If someone said that she didn't take part as a sign of support to Kushal, I would have still thought it to be valid and justified. But not this. However, I personally strongly feel that the reason I am assuming is the actual one. Hopefully I am right.

I don't know why I am going around posting this in her support since I am not her lawyer, but this is just a sign of support on my behalf to her. To send her good vibes. That's it. She won't even know that she has supporters here on this forum defending her, but this is my bit for the contestant I am rooting for with all my heart. :)

If she is on periods than also tht is no reason ... It nowhere written in the vedas tht in periods women can't perform poojas .. It is just some superstition which has been inserted by some fraud pandits ..
