LOL. about people saying Gahuar should have read namaz whilst the pooja was going on 🤣

Can you imagine the reaction on this forum, if Gauhar was saying ' Allah Hu Akbar' Whilst the rest were saying ' Jai Mata ji'. People objected when she was smiling in the corner, observing everything quietly. All hell would break loose, if she started reading namaaz in that corner instead. Seriously, some of the replies here make me LOL.

Now, i really do wish, Gauhar took some of the suggestion into consideration and started reading namaz in the corner, would love to witness the drama that would have taken place on this forum. 😆

it is obvious people wanna bring religion into this that is why they are bringing Gauhar down.

right!

Hey Guys, I will and I can perform Namaz every single day if my friends wants me to or take me to masjid to give them support as I respect their religious belief. Guru Nanak went to Mecca to perform Hajj with his friends/followers. He was from Hindu faith who spent 18 years of his life in visiting religious places of all major religions through out Asia, some parts of Africa and Europe.
As far as Fasting in concerned, I have never gone through fasting procedure in my life thus it will be difficult for me but if there is a reason then I will not hesitate to do fasting in Ramadan. I have shared food with my Muslim friends in Ramadan at Iftar time.😊
Two years ago my sister got married in San Jose California. She is doing her residency program in Boston now. The wedding ceremony took place in a Jain temple then next day in a Sikh temple because boy comes from a Hindu faith. Almost everybody from girls side was wearing suits but I decided to wear traditional Kurta Pyjama. Guess what? After the wedding (bedi Pheras/puja) ceremony nobody was allowed to go to the main hall upstairs where all Jain Lords Images were placed.😊 Pundit ji allowed me because I was wearing Traditional Hindu Dress. 😆
Years ago our university group went to Nepal. Pashu Patti Nath temple in Katmandu is a very famous ancient Hindu temple thus everybody went to visit the temple. Non Hindus are not allowed to enter the temple. I asked Pundit ji if I could go in. He said, "Sardar ji aap to hamaree dharam ke Rakshak hai, apko hum kaisi rok sektee hai. (he was referring to ninth Guru Teg Bahadur ji)
I mean to say is that if non Hidus participate in prayers it wouldn't affect their religion or belief. It would have been nice if Gauhar had participated in Durga Puja prayers.
I have taken halal meat with my friends but don't buy and cook halal meat because I don't have to😆 I mean to say is that I am not fundamentalist. I was born in a Sikh family and sharing my time or attending Hindu or Muslim or Christian ceremonies or function will have no affect on my religion as Guru Nanak says:
Awal Allah Noor Upaya, Kudrat ke sab Bandee,
Ek Noor te sab Jag Upjeyaa, Kaun bhalee ko mandee.
In last July, one of my friends got married to a Muslim girl. They know each other since grade 8. This wedding took place in a Sikh temple according to Sikh customs. They are living happily together with boys parents. Both are professional and holding top positions in a financial institution. Unfortunately only girls two sisters attended the wedding and nobody else from her family bothered to come. 😭
Time is changing and so does the world. Thank God our new generation has a positive attitude and see things differently.
Mazhab nahi seekhata, Apas mai bair rakhna,
Hindi hai Hum Vatan hai, Hindosta humara,
Saree Jaha se Aacha, Hindosata Humara,
Hum Bulbulee hai iski, Ye Gul sata humara.
So country comes first before our religious beliefs. Their was no harm for Gauhar in holding Puja Thali and joining inmates in prayers. This is my point of view only. I don't mean to hurt anybody's religious beliefs. Thanks for reading this essay.😊

Jas - Enough about Gauhar, what is your take on Kushal?

Does it make Gauhar a less of a better person because she didn't participate in the puja? She didn't clap and dance with others?

The points you have raised above, such as you eating halal meat, or sharing food at Iftari with Muslim friends, isn't exactly something to blow your trumpets over and to prove to others you respect other religion. Gauhar, didn't disrespect any religion by not taking part in the Puja. She could have easily had the same reason as Kushal, and may have been angry at bigboss for not letting the Hell mates mix in with the heaven mates - Simple. There is no reason, over analysing and and confusing yourself on why she didn't take part - She didn't want to. Simple.. When a girl says no, it means no. When a girl doesn't wanna take part, she doesn't wanna take part. We are no one to object on this and make yourself sound like a better person by giving your previous justifications of things you have done outside your religion.

I've not seen the episode, BUT why does it matter what an individual CHOOSES to partake in? Does not she have freedom of choice? Did she disrespect anyone by not partaking in the religious activities? Let her live her life; stop moaning and groaning. Stop with the justifications...there needs to be no justification provided for an action that's one free to perform. It's not illegal neither has she intentionally hurt someone else. I hate religion freaks for this exact reason.

In a perfect world you are 100% correct - but in a country like India, it does make a huge difference - any small discrepancy leads to them being called a "Paki" ( there are elements like that but in small #'s ) so living in a place like India - it's very important to participate ESPECIALLY when it's on national TV
