Dear Salman, I love you....but can you take it a bit easy Sir?

Those of you who know me, would know I mostly stick to making fun takes / fun posts on Bigg Boss and most of my takes are mere caricaturing of Bigg Boss House contestants based on what they themselves say or do on the show OR, are extremely capable of saying or doing based on their own statements or acts on the show!😊

Apart from News channels, Bigg Boss is the only Indian TV show that I watch and my fascination for this show stems from the fact that the concept of this show is simply mind blowing! 👏

In an ideal world, if one strictly goes by the concept, it is to 'cage' some 15-16 individuals in a house, test their behavior and reactions to situations and one another by means of testing tasks and based on how their personalities come out on the show, let audience vote for them to stay on in the show or boot them out!👍🏼

Salman Khan is a huge Bollywood star who has had and continues to enjoy a phenomenal career in Hindi films. In so many ways he is the jaan of Bigg Boss show and is an absolutely delightful anchor.

I find it difficult to imagine this show being anchored by anyone else as well as Salman does, (I must admit I have only watched Season 5, 6, 7, a bit of 8 and now a few weeks of 9).

Over all Salman has been wonderful, even conceding he does seem to develop liking for a few almost every season. One thing his detractors would readily concede is that by no stretch of imagination Season 5, 6,7 and 8 winners were those for whom he had any kind of bias. Infact, Juhi Parmar, Urvashi, Gauhar and Gautam Gulati were ones on whom he was accused of being harsh and even unfair.

So if evidence is anything to go by, his real or perceived bias has hardly has had any impact on the eventual winner of a Bigg Boss season that he has anchored and thats great in a way!😊

Personally, what I am not comfortable with is Salman's intervention to such an extent where an individual kills his or her personality to such an extent that it totally kills the spirit of this brilliant game show!

Yes, if someone is spitting in someone's food, you must quickly come down harsh so that this kind of absolutely disgusting behavior is nipped in the bud!

But then how can you reprimand Kishwar for spitting on food and brush aside Aman Verma with a quick "Aman ne nahin thhooka" stamp of approval?

In a situation where one or two are spitting in someone's food and one is 'acting to spit', the one 'acting' is in any way letting others in house know that he is spitting and it's cool, right? So how can you reprimand spitting one and condone the 'actor'? 😲

Tonight's Saturday episode was a complete bash session of Suyyash-Kishwar-Prince!

Personally for me, all these contestants are mere individuals and I merely get my smiles from what they do or say, I twist it a bit and share my fun takes with you to see the lighter side of the same. So personally, one day I like someone, the next day, may be someone else.

What I did not like today at all is that Salman went over the top and now onwards if Prince becomes a Mauni Baba, Kishwar a silent Dukhiyaari Naari and Suyyash someone holding a hanky for Kishwar, it won't surprise me one bit and that defeats the soul concept of Bigg Boss!😕

Let individuals be! For God's sake!

Let them behave freely as they wish.

All you need to tackle is unacceptable behaviors of physical violence or stuff like spitting in someone's food. More than that, let audience be the judge!

Would audience enjoy a show where certain individuals are bashed to an extent where they all turn into disinterested Rimi Sen type, minus her scorns and roll of eyes? 😲

Bigg Boss house should simply be an open script where diversity of human natures and their mental strength or the lack of it helps emerge some as heroes some as villains, some as comedians, some as cry babies and some as mere nobodies!

Why should the interference be to such an extent where a budding villain is asked to pose as a hero and in the end, make a total mess of whole concept? 😲

Either you take a simple stand that,"Mandana you were wrong in touching Kishwar's clothes and you should understand that if you took her clothes, your clothes would be targeted too! And you shouldn't cry that you handled clothes of Kishwar appropriately whereas she and her side kick's didn't, because you have given a chance to others and people can get carried away in the heat of moment!"

Problem arises when you are OK with Mandana touching Kishwar's clothes but bulldozing Prince with a,"Koi aap ki behan ke suitcase ko haath lagaata, toh kya phir bhi-----"??? 😲

Puneet is another interesting character who has been totally killed by host intervention! 😕

He came full of energy, charged and could have created so many funny / peculiar situations!

Now just because he was being a FENKU, boasting of his links and work with Shahrukh, Salman etc., his having left three films for Bigg Boss you bashed him with a "Puneet, you look a complete fool when you speak like that!"

Why?? Why couldn't you just let him be his self and emerge as either a joker or a fool or a very funny character? One hard bash and that guy retreated into his shell completely! That's surely not what Bigg Boss idea is about isn't it?😲

When you told Kishwar that she was wrong in suggesting Bigg Boss is biased against her you had a valid point.

But in today's Saturday night bash of K-P-S, because you didn't get it right Sir, unanimous verdict of Prince and Kishwar was yes, you are biased against them and favour Mandana, and they said because Mandana is always right and we are always wrong, please kick us out of show!"

Now if it comes to that extreme, either you need to let it clearly come out that you are not biased or-----actually kick out Prince and Kishwar!

Now you don't want Kishwar, Prince to behave as they would if there was not a biased intervention and tomorrow if they transform into two Rimi Sens, you would say yaar aap log boring ho gaye ho----Just as Puneet is now-----(the maha boring man in house thanks to that one severe "Puneet, you look like a fool when you speak like that!"_)

Take it easy Salman Bhai----let the flowers bloom on their own, why nip and alter their shapes at their bud stages? That's a recipe for disaster!

Personally, simply as characters, I love Salman Khan and any day find Mandana more fascinating and interesting than Kishwar! Prince is another very interesting character too.

Simply control dangerous behaviors-spitting, throwing potatoes on someone's face (Actually that too should be controlled by Bigg Boss, not Salman), other than that why go into Is ka suitcase kyun utthaya, us ka bistar kyun hilaaya?" Too much hai boss!😆

Usually when I notice a bias, I point it out in a humorous way---as I have done it in this FB chat where Salman approves' Aman's conduct:

Facebook Chat-Salman Khan with Bigg Boss Housemates!

But tonight, Salman did go overboard. 👎🏼

Calm down Sir!👍🏼

Thank you for this post ..Thats exactly how i feel but cudnt have said it better..he kills the excitement of contestants ..when they were doing nothing the show was boring now they have started to open up n play it like a game ..let the audience decide whom they are liking n who is coming out as a villain..

Bang on post. Salman's biasness ,salman/bigboss dual stand and hypocracy made this show pathetic. One day I like one contest nxt day other but saman and Bb force me to support one due their biasedness and different stand for different people.

nicely written cruiser completly agree with you
salmans interference disturbs the whole concept of the show
contestants dosent behave as natutral as they should and just follow "bhais" instructions

so we are not able to see their real personality

I wish Salman could read this, that's all I have to say.. If he continues this, I am going to stop watching this season.. Not that it'l make any difference to the showmakers, but atleast I'l be spared of such blatant favoritism day in and day out, where you endorse and defend one person and completely run down anyone who is against ''your favorite''. As a host he should behave as neutral as possible even if in his head he has picked his favorites for this season..

i agree with u on the part that he shuld let them do whatever they does...
otherwise this situation arrives where public just sympathises with undeserving contestants and votes for them and make them win or go ahead...

actually it becomes a battle of salman and audience more than the contestants..fans supports the contestants who are being bashed by salman and i think in this way its more wrong..
