Asim Riaz extremely popular on Social Media but not in the country! - Page 3

Okay ,i would like to give my pov there.

Honestly speaking,i've nvr ever watched even a single episode of any of the BB seasons..This time too i started watching after a few episodes ,this ws after i got to know that Siddharth Shukla is also a contestant..I liked shukla since his babul ka angan(telecasted on sony some 10 yrs back) days..so i got to know that he ws also a part of bb this tym after reading some of the tweets by celebs like kamya punjabi praising him..i thought of watching it after that Siddharth malhotra and ritesh wla episode..after that i watched previous episodes also..so let me be honest here,from being in awe with his personality to completely disliking him,the journey wsn't smooth..I tried convincing myself that there must b something good about him even after reading about his controversies,i refused to believe that he ws as bad a person..But it finally opened my eyes,i ws a big fan of salman khan before this and my frnds used to tease me for being a fan of such a person ,they also used to persuade me into watching BB,and after i finally watched it,my love for SK turned into absolute disgust. From a fan who couldn't listen anything about sk to just another hater..So if u ask me,had i not seen BB ,i would've jst voted for shukla bcoz of my blind love for sk and shukla..There must be several like me,who love him from before and even after not watching the show, are rooting for him..Then there must be some who don't want to see beyond their love and judge between right and wrong, who'll support him..As for Asim ,i think majority of his fans are outside,I don't think he has that good PR like shukla has considering he's a celebrity..rashmi,shukla,bhau and sana are more famous here hence they rank better..I didn't know Asim before, I started watching BB as a fan of shukla,but ended up being a fan of Asim ..So i like Asim with or sans Shukla..(but he's bttr sans him)

May be his social media popularity is from small cities & rural areas that These research orgs never reach. They are always in big cities. Cost is a factor for them.

Anyway online vote matters & anyone can vote & Channel gets TRPs, doesn't matter where it's viewer is from. Why should it matter for contestants popularity? 😊

Thank You for your response. This is how you have a civil discussion, random bhakts instead of attacking people calling them jealous, hater & those terrible emoticons.

So your theory is that many casual people are going on name recognition instead of watching the show carefully. I don't agree with it, but its certainly plausible.

There are so many celebs who were in top 5 ormax rankings but most of them got evicted soon. And why would 90% of celebs support Asim?! Wait for next week, hope u will get your answers 😊

I agree. My opinions are:

1. Colors want there two faces to be on top. Rashmi trump card backfired.but still, she is popular and that's why on ormax and official listings.

2. On Sana, she is entertaining. Though I don't get her 70% jokes and not my type of entertainment but ,she is only entertaining factor to bb. So that's why on official listings + she is related to their colors face on show.

3. On Asim...he is surprise pack . Not bb, not audience and not even forum thought he will be like this. On trendings, I will not call them fake but they are well planned. If there is PR agency, or VPN changes or whatever, it's fine as colors faces have whole channel, endemol behind them .

Till this point, Asim is 40- 45% and color face rest%. With extension and wcs, anything can change. But these two have max chances. Even if Asim doesnot win, no regrets to me becoz he gained max till now.

I think this proof applies more to Sid than anyone. This is quite sad of me but I’ve done this too, I’ve checked accounts of people that are trending and most of the time the accounts that trend Sid have max like 5-10 followers. Some even have 0. If this is used as proof then Sid has a huge PR.
