So this is one of the weirdest situation in Reality TV history. At least Indian reality TV. On social media Asim is easily the 2nd most popular contestant behind Sid, Sana is a close third...Rashmi fourth. But he's nowhere to be found on Ormax while the others mimic their social media ranking. Sid is still first, Sana is second, Rashmi is third. Now before anyone tries discrediting Ormax, know that it is by far the leading research firm in the media space and do research work in all mediums. Production houses pay them big money for market analyzation. There's a few theories going around why this is.
1) By far the leading theory is that most of Asims social media fans are not from the country(India). So while they show up on SM they can never show up on Ormax research. Asim Fan Clubs have been know to ask people to save drafts and change locations by VPN for Twitter trends. But that's a common practise and all planned trends do the same.
2) Another theory is Asim's brother & PR(The modelling agency he's signed up with) are running a massive Social media campaign which is bringing in results but only on SM expectedly.
3) Final theory is a lot of casual fans are swayed by the Host's narrative on WKV. Since Salman never gives Asim any attention and focuses on Sid & Sana, expectedly the casual fan is more drawn to them.
I'm not trying to bash Asim here. I would just like to know what's your view on this MASSIVE discrepancy.
