The entire court is saddened learning about the difficult situations faced by Bijolia and its people. Rawatji informs the spies that very soon the entire royal family would be visiting Bijolia to make amends with them but the spies tell them not to do that
People of Bijolia are hurt and angry with Mewar and its royal family so we request to re-consider your manner of trip. Bijolia would have revolted long back against Mewar if it hadn't been for Rajkumari Ajabde- she has been taking care of her land and her people for the last 8yrs like a true daughter of the soil. We do not know what she did wrong but we do believe that your son and this family do not deserve an angel like her. We will take your leave as we cannot stay in the place that humiliated our princess- as of now we are Bijolia's soldiers and not your spies
Both spies leave the court and go back to Bijolia. Pratap is overcome with guilt and pain so is everyone else - Rawatji couldn't believe that the girl he whom he chose as her niece has been fighting all by herself because of a misunderstanding created by someone who wants to harm the royal family but the question was who would do that?
GR kept his silence but knew that if he didn't speak up then nothing would happen
GR: So Ranaji what is your plan of action now?
Ranaji: What are we supposed to do Guruji? Bijolia has tensions brewing and if we go then surely there is bound to be friction
GR: But if you do not go then you would not be fulfilling your Dharma- your duty as the protector
Rawatji: Guruji is right Ranaji we need to go to Bijolia and we will go but in disguise so that we can see for ourselves the true reality and assess the situation
Everyone agrees and leaves to make preparations
Jaiwanta Baiji had called the RajPurohitji as she wished to discuss the alternate methods to protect Kunwar Jagmal from the evil omens that were out to get him- on learning about the visit DheerBai and the others also joined in including the two princesses Maan and Chand. Both the princesses were close to Pratap and had no feelings for Jagmal whom they considered as Dharti ka Boj while they called their mother Bhootni. They had met Jaiwanta Baiji and fell in love with the lady- she was BadiMa to them
RajPurohitji was tensed looking at the astrological charts making DheerBai worry more for her son- her son was her lifeline- he was going to fulfil all her dreams and desires and she was willing to go to hell and commit all sins to get him his desires and rights
RajPurohitji: I'm sorry MahaRanisa but the stars have changed course. All the good you earned while performing the rigorous rituals and puja have been negated by the sins committed against innocents by the family
DB: There is something we could do
RP: There are two ways but they are not easy
JB: Please tell us
RP: The first way is that Kunwar Jagmal needs to devote himself in complete and utter supplication for the next 16yrs. He is to lead a very normal life like a devotee and take pilgrimage to all the holy places where he will be required to observe strict fasts- no food and water for 2days, he will have to walk barefoot in the scorching heat and bear the chilly winds- he would have to open himself to nature and her elements completely and not only he even you as his mother will be required to perform certain rituals and observe fasts.
DheerBai is shocked while Chand thinks: there is no way Dharti ka Boj will be able to do that - he is the laziest person in the entire Rajputana - Bhootni hand feeds him his food and does all his tasks
DB: what is the other way?
JB smiles internally while RP says: The second one is also tough Ranisa
Those who have unknowingly or knowingly harmed the innocents need to seek their forgiveness. Once they are forgiven then the innocent person/persons will be required to observe a strict three day fast as well as participate in a puja to please the Gods while Kunwar Jagmal and you still be required to perform tasks throughout till the main puja is completed successfully
