Hey guys I apologise for the delay in the Update but I was a bit preoccupied and will be for the next couple of days (so the updates might take a day)

Happy Valentine's Day folks ...lots of love to you from me and my story characters 😊❤️

So we left of our gang in midst of a journey so lets see what they are upto now

Chapter 9

They had stopped for the night and everyone was getting ready to have some dinner as they all planned on leaving early morning so that they could reach their destination hopefully by evening next day. Everyone had gathered for dinner except for Ajabde her absence irked Pratap who wanted to speak to her but then his friend Chakrapani came to his rescue and enquired about her and was informed that she was very tired so she went to sleep

Went to sleep without having any food Pratap thought to himself and then remembered that they did not even take a break during the day. Does she intend on harming herself? He thought angrily and stood up and left without touching his own food

The rest of the gang looked at the departing individual who left without a word and then started at each other before beginning their meal. Pratap stormed off towards Ajabde's tent and entered without seeking permission but stopped in his tracks, she had just changed her clothes and was removing her jewellery she looked lost in thought but that was not the thing that had Pratap transfixed- her hair was open and were all collected on side giving him a clear view of her back, he took a deep breath and called out for her Ajabde in a soft whisper

She turned around and found the man who had not spoken to her the entire day standing in her tent well if he could ignore her than so would she and with that in mind she asked How can I help you?

Pratap: Why are you not having dinner? You will fall sick if you keep up like this Ajabde

Ajabde (was happy as he was concerned but did not show it): As I said I'm very tired from our journey and wish to rest as far as food is concerned I have paid my apologies to my God and now if I have answered all your questions than I would like to go to bed

She made a move towards her bed but found herself trapped by Pratap's body, he was staring at her as if she was his salvation, his reason for living just everything he could read the hurt in her eyes but then Phool's voice broke them of the trance and he left without a word from the tent

Ajabde quietly went to her bed and tried falling asleep but could not she kept on tossing and turning and was glad that she did not have to share her tent with Phool for the night otherwise poor Phool would not slept at all but a rustling noise made her alert it appeared that something was outside her tent. Maybe a stray animal she thought and closed her eyes but then her eyes jerked open as she felt a hand covering her mouth

Chapter 10

She was angry- first he ignores her than he comes but leaves without an apology or even a word and now he enters her tent in the middle of the night like a thief and covered her mouth. She glared at him and he looked right back at her - his eyes speaking the words which he was not but she was stubborn and would not relent until he apologised for hurting her and then she bit his hand!

Ahhh!! He pulls his hand back and looks at his intended who was glaring daggers at him

Pratap: Why did you do that Ajabde?

Ajabde: What are you doing in my tent at hour of the night?

Pratap: Answer me

Ajabde: You answer me

P: I brought dinner I know you were really tired but you need to eat as well so I thought maybe we could have dinner together

Ajabde: You brought me dinner?

Pratap: No I brought us dinner

Then both of them have the dinner throughout which Ajabde thinks about his behaviour towards her

Pratap: You are thinking awfully hard Ajabde care to share your thoughts with me

Ajabde: Your mood swings are giving me headache Kunwar Pratap

Pratap: My mood swings?

Ajabde: You ignored me throughout the day, not even a glance in my direction when I came with Phool and then you come storming in my tent questioning me on why I was not having the food and now you brought me dinner...so yes your mood swings Kunwar Pratap are giving me a terrible headache

Pratap stared at her hard and realised his mistake but then said so you decided not to have food because I ignored you?

Ajabde: I was worried that you were angry with me but I had no idea of the reason. I mean nothing came into my mind that would say that I hurt you or angered you. I thought maybe you did not want to be here and were feeling obliged to accompany us and if that is the case you can leave Kunwar Pratap it won't hurt anyone's feelings I assure you I will tell them that you had to leave for some urgent work. Patta and Bhai Balwant are capable of escorting us (she kept on babbling and Pratap stared at her)

He placed his finger on her lips and said

I'm not here out of an obligation I'm here because I want to be here, this trip is just the beginning of all our trips together Ajabde and I'm looking forward for that I do realise that Patta and Balwant are capable of escorting everyone here but your safety is my priority and though I trust them of taking care of you I believe I do it way better. I was not ignoring you Ajabde I was trying hard to control myself so that I did not make a fool out of myself in front of everyone

Ajabde looks at him confused: Make a fool?

Then he pulls her closer to him and kisses her. The kiss was raw, passionate as if he was dying to feel her the way his hands held her tight in his embrace and expertly he moved his lips over hers. Ajabde forgot everything else and only Pratap remained he was everywhere and all she could feel was him and his essence. He was right only he had the ability to make her feel this safe and loved and protected

The kiss broke up and Pratap smiled looking at the blushing girl in front of him, he kissed her forehead and wished her a good night and left

Ajabde: Kunwar Pratap she called out and he turned towards her

Ajabde: I'm still angry for the way you ignored me and for that I believe you owe me a gift of my choosing she said in a teasing manner

Pratap looked at her and said alright you can tell me what your heart desires and I will get it for you with that he left her tent and she went to sleep which found her easily this time around

Chapter 11

The next morning saw the entourage all preparing to leave for their destination looking at the smiling faces of Kunwar Pratap and Ajabde everyone took a breath of relief knowing that they must have solved their differences amongst them.

It was around the afternoon as the sun was shining in all of its glory that they came across a river where they stopped for a small break. Patta and Balwant ran ahead like two fools after making a bet on who would drop the maximum number of fruits from the trees Chakrapani, Veeni, Som and Shakti also went with them. Phool was chosen as the judge whereas Chakri only wanted to eat the fruits

Ajabde was smiling at her brothers when something distracted her just by the riverside in a wild flower bush she saw two rabbits eating leaves and so she picked up some leaves from the top and kept it in front of them all the while smiling, Pratap had noticed her picking up the leaves but did not know the reason on seeing the two rabbits he smiled at her innocence.

Looks like you found some friends Ajabde he said and she looked at him with a plea written clearly in her eyes she wanted to keep them with her and there was no way he could refuse her but he decided to gain something out of it and added if you get to keep these new friends of your does it mean I'm forgiven for my behaviour yesterday?

She looked at him with hopeful eyes and knowing that they were quite alone at the time gave him a peck on his cheeks and went back to playing with her new friends he had got his answer and together they went to join their friends.

Phool had a huge smile on her face even Patta was beaming but it was Shakti's facial expression that was saying it all - he was irritated,

Chakri: Now Kunwar Shakti you cannot win all the time he tried to placate the young prince

Shakti: I'm very well aware of that fact but maybe with a different judge we might get different result he looked at Phool

Phool was insulted and retorted I may be a girl but am well aware of whom the winner is and Patta dropped more fruits than you!!!

Balwant and the rest were trying hard to control their laughter unaware the entire entourage was being spied upon by the Afghans the entire gang was enjoying the break when a stray arrow came towards Ajabde but she ducked the last minute as her new furry friend was trying to get down, the arrow gave away the presence of unwanted guests and everyone went into high alert - Pratap held Ajabde's hand, Phool was surrounded by Shakti and Patta whereas Chakrapani, Balwant, Som, Veeni and Maan circled and looked in all directions when suddenly Chetak started to neigh very loudly as if trying to point at something or someone, Pratap understood Chetak and left Ajabde with the others and along with Patta and Shakti went in the direction Chetak had just pointed

There were five of them all carrying weapons from the looks of it they came prepared for a fight but before Pratap could confront them they left the place as if someone was on fire but in their hurry they left behind a letter- a letter than stated their reason of being there it looked like their talk with Rao Mamrakh ji was coming true the Afghans were after Ajabde

They all decided to leave and by evening they had reached their destination where Purohitji informed them that due to some issue with the stars alignment the Puja had been delayed by two days and so they were required to stay back a little longer but were all invited to the village weekly market that was taking place

Balwant sensed something amiss with Purohitji as he was a lot scared and did not seem to meet their eyes and realised that the others too had noticed this behaviour but were trying to hide for the sake of his sister

But what was Purohitji hiding and why was he doing that was the real question

so the purrohit ji knows about the Afghans hmmm interesting

Purohitji has a strong reason for lying to them...
Ajabde forgave him easily this time as she understood what he was going through she herself feels like that for him as well, also this shows her innocence that she is not interested in jewellery or you know expensive things but rather simple things make her happy 😊

SPOILER ALERT!!!!
They will fight in the upcoming chapters (not telling you which one😛) and that time she won't forgive him easily

Purohitji has good reasons for lying to the gang as we will see it the upcoming chapters

Hey myu finger is well though it still pains a bit but overall it is fine...

Am working on the update hopefully it will be up by evening or later tonight
