Kushal?😲 Rajneesh? 😕 These guys do not have the physique, gait, expressive eyes and solid voice to play THE Maharana Pratap!

They look urban. Lack the old world appeal to fit in a majestic period drama.

Always wanted a guy who could look regal, strong warrior and yet have big expressive eyes that were equally adept at expressing courage as much as kindness and love.

Going by their past record also I fear they may mess up in adult casting.😕

They cannot go wrong with Ajabde and princes like Jagmal, Sagar, Shakti either. Nor the grown up Jalal.

Each character has gone through different emotions in this story. We need solid actors to portray those transitions and not mere models!

I think we're not just going to miss but pine for child actors and original pre leap cast...

absolutely agree skep that's a lot of kids they have to replace and all have important roles...also Chakrapani and Venidas and Bheem Singh...
atleast Kushal is definitely not playing MP...so Confused oh well...Rajneesh is seriously a miscast as far as Looks go,.he is too prim, proper and London return type face for this role and lesser said about his acting the better...how will he get the hindi diction right in the first place...having seen him in couple of flop movies already...he just doesn't look right...Confused

no one will like to left faisal as he rocked as mp
same thing happened when prc leap taken
i myself left the show as i din't like much

i am totally agree with you.
same was happened to many shows like prc, buddha, and others
mb is exception
but they have to choose any of them
i suggested names can suit atleast
mb's karna is also good for the role as leap is far he can take this role
hope their casting prove best as their earlier

I agree Kushal ,Rajneesh are terrible choices , I can't imagine them in MP's role.I cannot think of anyone from current brood of actors who can do justice to this role actually.
Probably the production house thinks if they go with popular faces they may get their fan following.

If Mohit Raina was not busy with mahadev he could have done justice.
but then Shakti is doing udai singh's role, new guy has to look younger han him
Not sure what will happen

I am only wondering-
If (Star plus) Mahabharat's Arjun would have been a good choice for Pratap had he been taller...

I am not his fan or anything- but the couple of episodes I have watched in Mahabharat- he has that intense look of a warrior as well as requisite kindness in his expressions IMO...

No one can ever match Faisal but as far as the current batch goes, he seemed more apt than the others...

what do you think...?

Mohit and Shaheer have already been part of cult shows. They obviously won't be preferred in MP. Rajneesh looks Nepali as someone pointed out in another thread last week. Plus too much of a beauty pageant winner vibe about him.
I want a tall, broad chested man, with strong voice, big expressive eyes and sunkissed complexion. Cannot think of right fit actor as of now...

For Ajabde the girl needs to have old world charm and mixture of strength and innocence.

Chakrapani was court scholar and scientist apart from being MP's bestie. The boy chosen for adult role should have intellectual vibe yet ability to convey friendliness.

I want experienced actors and not entirely freshers unless they are super talented. Actors should live the roles than make it look like costume drama.😕

@hiral : I know leap is inevitable But won't it be better if it happens later !? Its all about business at the end and RoSal are the essence of MP right now for people so CVS should not have any problem to prolong their role moreover I love the other kids too and if RoSal stay they would stay as well .That's true they have to cast for other kids too but the real challenge is to cast pratap, ajab, akbar and may be chakrapani For rest no one would be so much concerned in my POV .
