A long time ago, I watched a Japanese cartoon where a newly appointed high priestess and one of her bodyguard-warriors fell in love each other... The warrior now turned around to the old man. With teary eyes and a painful smile on his face, he said, "I can't stop. Because its already too late."
Loved this. Can almost hear Pratap saying the same... He almost did in the play. (BTW i love his newfound resolve in love. He said that time "baat toh humein aapse karni hai Ajab" It seems he may have listened to GR after all . He doesnt care about hurting Phools sentiments so much and he knows that and he wants to therefore stop being so careless and unjust to her by breaking this wedding... 😕 Any way moving on...😆
Its too late. Too late. Pratap has already crossed that bridge. The bridge of love. He won't be able to come back from the other side. Not without scarring himself for eternity... The love which can tear you apart.
The beautiful Japanese tale reminded me a lot of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time . Do you think?
Similar story... although here both of them sacrifice but come together in the end!
Truly, our folktales/history are rife with people sacrificing true love for various reasons... But when you see some great people who are ready to give their everything away for others/country your heart goes out to them- they deserve every bit of the true love they find for however short a time... No one deserves their 'thoda sa aasman' more than them!
Ajab... Your inability to not worry about Pratap just proves that your sacrifice of feelings is soon going to be meaningless. You really can stand up for others and for your faith in others.
So true... If Ajab let go of her worries and stopped caring even as pretence it wouldnt be Ajab at all. It is Ajabs kind heart which will redeem Phool. Inspite of Phools FBs of her bond with Ajab, I think the CVs have continuosly portrayed Phool as being shallow and she seems to be beyond acceptance of PrAja even sometime in distant future.
Also her own 'daan mein jeeti hui' dictum fell flat against her 'haasil kar leti hoon' nature. It was never about love. To her, Its only a competition where she does not acknowledge any contemporary worthy of Pratap but her saundarya... ( People were so right when they said, Phool cant sacrifice or back out. that would make her seem mature which i dont think the CVs are planning to show until after the leap)
What disturbed me was that, as UD said, you wanted to "hasil", as in "obtain", Pratap and that you are "sacrificing" your friendship with Ajabde over that. I see no sacrifice. I see only anger in declaring that Ajab is no longer a friend.
whatever happened to "main bhi naye rishton ke liye purane rishton ko nahi chodungi" promise. I know unrelinquished love hurts. But what you see as love, is just your 'junoon' as in craze, not passion.
US and JB...till date, I was unable to pinpoint you two's feelings and thoughts over the issue but today I realised something. You two are on the same page. You both love Ajab and both understand Pratap's pain. But you both realise that the issue is no longer on a personal level. It has become a political one. Its impossible to back out now. Especially when the other party is someone as hard-headed as RM and his mate and spawns.
I am somehow unable to give US that benefit of doubt. He had several opportunities prior to this fiasco to see why Ajab was best for Pratap. His brain was foggy then and now he seemed to realise yesterday that all this may have been averted but ab 'visfot' ho chuka hai...😉
JB...really felt for you. You are right.
JB you are commendable. as a Maharani, mother, human being, friend.
Period.😃
HK's servant...those who consider this land as their own are true children of this country.
Yes. I wish we had a a bit of HK in each and every person in this world...
Jalal,... you were charismatic today. Truly, you gave me chills down my spine.
He really is a brilliant actor.
BK...lose some weight. You are looking too bloated up these days.
hahahahah
Precap...so Ajab is being sent without even any basic protection. She is a princess, for God's sake.
I found it so bizzarre that US didnt even speak up for this injustice. For heavens sake you have turned into a 'tuccch samant (as is being repeated over and over in your mahal)' in front of RMD. She is your atithi for christs sake. Atleast stand up for that...
Oh ok on second thought, stay put. With a crappy track our only solace is the 'jungle mein mangal' episodes hopefully coming soon. And that wont be possible if our damsel isnt in distress. Bring it on CVs.😉
