Well known SATI was performed by RAMA BAI peshva wife ofMADHAV RAO PESHVA...

Novel named SWAMI was written on their life... It's so heart wrenching I cried when I read dat book...

Ek show bhi tha "RAO" karke... Even now it makes me emotional

i know tht
and read tht novel
it is awesome
but sati pratha is related to devi sati
and first it was on own wish
but after they made it as pratha or ritual and started forcefully imposing on them tht is very sad thing

In d begining it was on own wish but later it becomes a ritual..
Nd I compares these two things Bcoz it had one common factor I.e. at d end of both a woman has to sacrifice her life...

Baki I know d difference

all the time only women had to sacrifice in any form don't go far take eg. of jodha or other historical women and its same in this age too. between did u remember in novel ramabhai kept khanjar with her to protect her pride if something bad happen in war time.

@Marathi_Mulgi, Yeah I Remerber dat... U know it was d reason that time they used to remove hairs of a woman, so dat her beauty will b reduced and no one look at her as a thing to use...

Have u seen dat show "Rao"?
I m in love wid Rama and Madhav...
