but i loved swami most coz he was loyal to his wife

OMG. These women were killed. They were bound to die. Really sorry for them. It is explained in wrong way , otherwise India will looks extremely cruel/ugly to whole world., but we all can sense how ugly Indian history was !!!!!!!!!!!!! Rabish people just killed so many woman for no reason !!!! Women were treated extremely badly, even in near past.

It is not sacrifies for glory, They were just killed.. Cruel Indian hindu culture, till date could not give women full respect.. Shame on you Indian-subcontinent for your cluel history. Unfortunately we are part of this subcontinent . Still long way to go for women's respect.

It is similar to "Sati daho"" When a hindu man die, his wife used to be killed burn alive, it is kind of similar hindu thing !! Not for glory or for honour.

It was just, woman must needed to sacrifiec their life..

not only Indian...during that time every country's women were disrespected...but in India women like Rani Lakshmi Bai, Rani Padmini, Razia Sultana, NoorJahan were equally treated like Men...

so plz first brush up ur history then comment abt Indian history..

I agree with you..History says, women were disrespected in the past badly by many civilization. But this story make me remember Shati daho. I know this is not Shoti daho but similar with different explanation. Which was the most cruel thing ever can happen to women. Very recently Indian women has got permission to get married twice and I know how widows were treated even very recently 20/30 years before. I was just simpethatic towards those respectfull women , who had to live a very bad life or die for their rituals. They are very high level human being, but they are victim of society. They died giving a moral explanation, but it was death after all. They could not live their life. hearts cry for them ! I being part of this subcontinent, my background is same, I was being rude towards my own history..So nothing to take personally. This whole subcontinent has same history. so watch all dramas. Otherwise I would not have time to watch or come to India forum. Appologies if I hurt you. But it is disturbing to see something like that on tv. I will not watch it again. felt really sad.

I agree, present situation is promising !! I was suddenly very emotional after watching the drama. Sorry about that.
