The world believes what they see

The world will see a friend hugging another in the office but will seldom try to see the reason and circumstances behind the hug

The world will believe what they see and will judge on that basis..this is what Maya has taken advantage of All this while

Maya creates an illusion for the world to see and thrives

For the world she is a woman who gets tortured by her husband

Who lost her baby due to her husband

Who was molested by her devar and lost her first baby due to Saanjh

For the world the truth is only what they see and hear...Maya has the ability to create an illusion and make it look like an absolute truth.

She has the power to turn an illusion into truth.

The world saw a guy hugging a girl and straigth away termed them as lovers...but one would not want to see or understand the circumstances behind the hug...that one friend was trying to console the other who was in depression coz she lost her father

Yes I do feel that Saanjh and Arjun should have maintained a certain limit but one should also look at the circumstances.

I also think that in near future Vandana's blessings and Maya's illusion might come true as Arjun might fall in love with Saanjh and that will make Maya go really mad coz this is one illusion which she will hate if at all it comes true.

If anyone wants to win against Maya then they should make sure that the absolute truth overpowers the illusion..that is the only way...the absolute truth should prevail in the end.

@anshvi exactly the world believes what they see or what is connected to their truth. For the world Maya is a beautiful, intelligent woman who has set up Fashion and City who married a middle class man Arjun Sharma. They will connect the facts that goes with this perception or Maya.

Yes people should have known why Arjun and Saanjh hugged. Same way VM should have known why the 9 year old stabbed her father.

Today Arjun got accused of the crimes someone else did. Yes all those accusations hurled at Arjun are true in case of Ashwin. It was Ashwin who used to hate his wife and child, it was Ashwin who wanted to kill his child to gain Jhanvi's properties, it was Ashwin who had relation with some other woman, it was Ashwin who used to beat his wife and child. Years ago, no one heard the words of a 9 year old. Because at that time she was unaware about the manipulations of this world. Justice was taken away from that naive 9 year old. But today the same Maya is fully aware of how this world works and she used the same manipulations to make her words heard. The result is what we saw today. Arjun is punished for a crime he never did. But the true punishment goes to Jhanvi. She was the one who always let her child alone. Today she's all alone in this world. Her daughter is "dead", her son in law has limited days to live and Saanjh is a person who could not even take care of her own mother, so nothing can be expected from her.

Coming to the last scene. Whatever Arjun realised, he made a mistake of telling it to Saanjh. Because she has a record of royally screwing up things due to her arrogance and overconfidence. So even this time Saanjh will do something stupid to rock Maya's boat and that'll make Maya come out of her hiding. But even after all this I wish that at least this time Saanjh should keep aside her arrogance and do things properly. I know it's too much to ask from a character who does nothing but hog SS with her stupid dialogues and useless drama.

I think they are going to take a leap of 3 months and Maya'll come out of her hiding before Arjun is hanged.

@fallingsnow yes Pooja will be back. I saw her confused after she spoke to Jhanvi. Also she says she knows what Maya felt. So she seems to have some story maybe of domestic abuse,

@jane exactly. I had put in Laska's thread it was a cycle completion. Whatever she accused Arjun was what Ashwin was.

See I had always thought the symbolism of Ashwin bringing Maya out of the water when she jumps with Jhanvi.

Yes now the onus is on Arjun to prove he is not Ashwin. He is different. Remember hospital scene where Arjun begs Dusky to pray for Maya and Dusky telling what is written in her fate, give it to Maya.

I had then thought it was Arjun. Now I feel it is love or Prem. Because Dusky's greatest asset was her father Prem Mathur. The unconditional love he gave to his darling daughter. Which Maya never got. Maya never knew what it means. So love should go to her.

Yes Vandana should have given her a chance in the first place and I completely hated her behaviour...she was rigid and didn't give Maya a fair chance.

Vandana did give her a chance a second time when Maya got pregnant but it was too late and she paid a very heavy price for it...her son for almost killed and she got murdered...tragic.

After knowing everything I doubt if Maya ever wanted a chance in the first place coz we now know that she had been planning everything before the wedding took place

All she ever wanted was to control the one person she claimed that she loved and the moment she felt that same love started controlling her..she destroyed it completely. Maya wanted Arjun all for herself and couldn't share him with anyone.

Maya who could have started a new life , could have led a happy life , could have proved Vandana that she was wrong but she let it slip from her hands and indeed proved that though Vandana's behaviour was not right her fears and doubts about Maya did come true !

Now I also think if there was more to Ashwin - Maya story...coz we all believed what we saw...we saw a cunning man who used to torture her daughter and we detested him but what did Ashwin wanted to tell I am curious to know.

We do have a tendency to believe what we see...Sab Maya hai...illusion is Maya's strength...the day the illusion will break the absolute truth will prevail and justice will be served.

@anshvi second time was late because by that time Maya had become a criminal and Ayan her son was victim of that crime. His mind set was different and he couldnt accept all the goodie goodie things to the woman who has ruined his life. And I could connect to him.

For me Ayan-Maya equation in Season 3 seems to be the Ashwin-Maya equation of her childhood.

She wanted to change, but then her planning shows she had safeguarded everything in case if it doesnt go the way she wants. Most importantly her company.

But I feel most of her planning happened in the six months she was in aslyum and Saajun helped her in her cause by openly moving around showing beyhadh friendship.

She was sure that the day Arjun will try to leave her then she will destroy him.

I don't think she genuinely wanted to change though coz if she did then she wouldn't have planned before marriage maybe later when Vandana didn't accept her but she was clear from the start that she wanted Arjun for herself and Vandana not accepting her gave her the advantage of swaying Arjun to her side.

She gave the final touches to her plan during those 6 months when she wrote the fake diary..going into the asylum was also a part of her plan...she decided to destroy Arjun when she realized that Arjun only cared about the baby and not her...and thus she planned this also asylum thing and utilized that time to give final touches to her plan

Ya agree about Maya-Ayaan equation.

@shruthiravi, but Dusky has already given everything good-happy-love to Maya. She sacrificially gave Duffer. Already returned the earring. And even the mangalsutra returned. Let her ability to donation fate's good-happy-love gift all the best from her destiny or whatever else will end there, please. May be enough? I think Maya got enough of normality, sanity and goodness from this so-called normal sane good world. Maya got the best gift - Ashwin2, the new version, an improved new version, and he also has sacred handouts of indulgent so-called love to his truly beloved

And I hope child is dead. Maya has already passed through her child's death, so no longer needed. Just to give to Duffer on another freebie? With what kind of joy?
