@Fallingsnow where is the evidence. Statements dont work unless backed with evidence. Same funda I was telling. Saanjh dialogue and action dont match. She says Ayan is the witness. Why cant the defense lawyer bring the doctor who treated Ayan who told it was deliberate murder attempt. Where is VM and Prem post mortem reports to know cause of deaths. Nothing of this is done and claim is being made. Maya said this, Maya said that and she is mad. Most importantly she is mad and well she lost it there when prosecution lawyer bought the doctor and insulted Saanjh further.

shruti jaan i am confused on how the indian court system works. its so confusing how the witnesses are brought and arjuns attorney does not ask them questions. is it that they only get a chance to ask questions later when they start defending the case. if this is how the indian court system works it sucks. is it not simpler to ask the witness straight away.


coming to the episode Maya the boss even though she was strict and tough and she did not get close to any of her employees they had a lot of respect for her. it was not only about them fearing her if Maya was really bad and mad and evil a simply peon would not feel angry at the dusky and duffer romance and the fact that they where wronging his boss. it disappoints me that maya cheated herself out of being the leader she truly was and is by being obsessed with a man who was never truly a true match for her. he has no quality that makes him equal to. out of all the love stories i have seen this is one where i just dnt see how the Maya can be madly/beyhadly in love with their object of desire aka Arjun. there should be atleast 5 things about him to make any1 beyhadly on love with him lol.

gosh i got no words for that friendship its like how does any woman or even man think that sort of closeness is acceptable when one of them is married. this relationship will make a sane woman mad.

my problem with this episode is that this showed not only the illusion of what maya created but also the truth of what certain ppl are and what certain relationships are. it showed that arjun is not nor was he ever good enough for Maya nether socially, financially or even looks wise(for me lol). and that arjun and saanhj relationship is inappropriate. but for the 2 main characters they will never accept that they wrong coz its all part of Maya's game. and she is responsible for everything. maya is wrong, society is wrong every1 is wrong besides them. i never see any sort of shame or regret by dusky and his mistress. so for me Maya has humiliated them bt she has not won coz they are still as superficial as ever

I was laughing through out the episode the way the prosecutor lawyer presented the evidence. Unlike Saanjh screaming on Ayan's case this lady went on examining her witness in a very professional manner. What Ria told was the truth. Yes Arjun wanted to show off, that he controls his wife. Now that cost him dear. Coming to Ramprasad, Arjun you dont bring your friend of opposite sex to your office in the absence of your wife. Especially when Maya was in aslyum. No Maya didnt do anything here. Yours and Saanjh's special dosti has sounded the death knell for you. Society doesnt take special friendship the way you think Duffer and Dusky and Ramprasad told exactly what the society thinks, when a married man whose wife is in mental aslyum spend more than the required time with a friend of opposite sex that too in a bit of intimate moments. The hug was still ok, but Saanjh holding Arjun close to her stomach. If you ask me too to take that scene as just platonic well I wont take it.

See in season 1 Saanjh cut Maya from Arjun at night and when she comes to Maya's office next day Ramprasad comes and keeps Maya's photo beside Arjun. That time itself I knew it will be the society and its eyes that will come between Arjun and Saanjh's so called special friendship. I had also told Arjun will travel his dad's path. Arjun's mom was a cancer patient. Maybe his father spend more time with Vandana as a friend and the society saw them in some inappropriate positions which resulted in rumours and finally the marriage happened as maybe his father felt that was the most honorable thing to do to Vandana as society has tarnished her image. It could also have been one sided attraction. We dont know. But of course a man who has a wife with third stage cancer and a little boy to take care of will be emotionally drained and could do with some emotional support which might have bought Arjun's dad and VM together. So if Vandana was so sure what the society told was completely wrong she would have been empathetic with Maya atleast when the girl fell on her feet. She would have observed Maya than make outright judgement about her. So her behaviour with Maya in season 1 shows there was some truth in what society told, just like there is truth in what society tells.

The nurse, the maid are not lying. They are telling what Maya told them, but now the intrepretation looks different. Now Saanjh she told Maya was mad. I loved when the public prosecutor asked her how easy it is for someone to tell a person is mad, but do they realize what the person undergo. The doctor underline what I believed atleast from Season 2. Maya is not mad. She is not. She has depression. She has severe mental issues due to her traumatized childhood and when it is reminded, she reacts violently. Reason a mad person cannot build an enterprise like Fashion and City. No a mad person cannot build it. Mental illnesses is not madness. It needs to be checked when the issue is triggered and then the solution has to be for the source of the problem. Maya's depression stems from the fact that she is alone. If between her and someone else the other person is chosen. Jhanvi chose Ashwin, Arjun chooses Saanjh. VM calls her mad and bad. This makes her a control freak and makes her travel the dark path. None of this so called white characters had looked her as an woman who had set up Fashion and City. They had ignored the light in her and chosen the darkness in her.That darkness claimed her and is claiming everyone around her.

Arjun Sharma the prosecutor nicely trapped you by calling Saanjh your mistress. You raised your hand. Yes Duffer you raised your hand. Your emotions are not in your control duffer and you cant help it. How can it be, when your madness is around. Today you were telling Dusky is your support system, but to Maya you told she is your madness. So she serves multiple purpose. If she is your support, how come each time she speaks you are moving more into the mess.Support doesnt behave like that, but yes madness can behave like that.

Now the defense lawyer was telling they are not discussing Arjun and Saanjh love story. They are discussing Maya's murder. I felt like laughing Saanjh was arguing for Ayan rape case as if it was Arjun-Maya divorce case. Now when someone else is using that funda it cannot be digested.

Maya devi satkodi pranam sweekar karo. Tum is duniya ki nahi ho to plan with such brilliance.

@sandi of course this is not how Indian judicial system works. Defense has the right to cross examine the witness. Ideally after the prosecution called each witness, the defense should have got up and cross -examined the witness.

Shrutiravi we say truth wins always. It's a saying that truth is never hidden. Okay but as far as Maya is concerned she has not revealed full truth. Firstly when she told Arjun about Ashwin. Only in the last she revealed everything to Arjun. Now Arjun will shout on the top of his voice but no one will believe him. Because she has created perception in others mind that Arjun is bad. She told the truth that she loves Arjun, Arjun doesn't loves her. But it was a lie that Arjun is bad. Either she was hiding truth or revealing half truth. She always set a perception in others mind. At one point of time I have sympathy for Maya but I am a person who will always go with the truth. But Half truth is disastrous. Right? We know in Mahabharat that was just one half truth which was the reason which Pandavas won the battle. But Yudhishthir's chariot which was flying because he was Dharmaraj. The chariot didn't fly any more just because of the half truth. It's just like Drishyam make people see what you want them to see. In these two examples it was for the good. But in Maya's example it was not for the good. Still Maya won speaking a half truth. In real life it also happens people speaking truth don't win. Even in courts you are judged on the basis of evidence, truth doesn't matter. Maya won the case showing half truth. You know the CCTV footage. It's a saying truth is never hidden but I have a question why it is always hidden? How it comes out late? There are no efforts made to let truth out. Before knowing truth we have done so much wrong that after knowing truth we are not in a position to do anything right.

@musical in Drishyam what the hero does is not right. But what makes it right is when the Police Officer after knowing her son had committed a crime of shooting that girl comes and beats them. If the Police Officer had asked them to go after knowing that truth, then what the hero did would have been wrong. Because if spoken truth that woman would have protected him and his child.

@shruthiravi, Duffer liked that he was the only one so special. After all, he condescended to Maya. He did this not only after Ayan's attack. In Mauritius he did the same thing. Samay is rival. Someone can buy flowers for Maya. Can give gifts Maya. And more than this someone may want to take away Maya. He liked the safety that Maya gave him. Total assurance. Samay took away this security. And Duffer immediately took the hand, which would give him this safety. Because for Dusky there is nothing and no one except Duffer. And Duffer wants to be the center of the universe for the girl, and at the same time wants her to indulge in everything, and endure all his antics

@Laska duffer wanted someone to dance at his whims and fancies and yes Samay took away that liberty.

there is definitely more to arjun's character bcuz they put that seed of doubt in our minds that mayb arjun married maya only for her money wayyy before ashwin murder things happened. rememebr the bachelor party n thn wen ayan asked bfr the wedding...i think its a bit of both. Money n fame plus maya's undivided beyhadh love only n only for him. I think arjun too lik maya fears his loved ones leaving him mayb bcuz of losing both his parents n with maya he has it guaranteed that this woman will never leave me...mayb thats why from maya's half truth story of samay he felt betrayed, i mean u can pretty much tell from what she said that she did pretend to love him - if only with words- but arjun dsnt know that...with maya missing n the hotel thing, i think arjun misunderstood as though she ws having an affair with him...his ego definitely was hurt.
