1/5/2017Sorry guys. This weekend was too hectic for me with a wedding house warming and some guests at home. Was able to catch the episode today morning only in YT. I would say yesterday was one of the best episodes of Beyhadh. Beautifully directed, remarkably performed both Jenny and KT were good in it. It showed in clear terms why the girl Maya wins or in a metamorphic way why perception wins.
For the first time since watching Beyhadh I cried yesterday. I cried for Arjun. Yes I cried for him. Everyone claims to love him, everyone tells whatever they are doing, they are doing it for him. No, no one is doing anything for Arjun. Whether it is Saanjh, whether it is Vandana or whether it is Maya they all want to be the centre of his life. They dont want another relation in his life.
Now look at the incident that happened. It is the truth Vandana entered Maya's room. It is a truth she snooped around. It is a truth she didnt respond to Maya's multiple calls to come out. It's a truth Vandana's hand came accidently between the doors. It's a truth Maya crushed that hand brutally by keeping it between the doors tied with a rope. All the viewers are fed the truth of the incident. Unlike Ayan's case, Vandana's case is not grey. Truth is shown to us in black and white.
Now what does Saanjh do. She takes the sob story, ur wife broke ur mother's hand. Ur wife is mad, bad and all the rubbish. She didnt tell she had sent Vandana to snoop around. Because that wont serve her selfish purpose of proving Maya mad and bad. That wont serve her purpose of Arjun breaking ties with Maya.
Perturbed Arjun comes home, sees Vandana. He is sad at what had happened to her, he talks to her lovingly. He tells his wife is a peculiar person. Her problem is his love. If his love keeps her secure she is light , else she burns. He knows that much about his wife. He says he will handle her and only he can handle her. What does Vandana do. She tells if relations had to be handled then it is time to break the relation. She also doesnt tell Arjun her snooping around. She also utilizes the opportunity to break her son's relation with his wife which was there from day one.
Now with the information he got from his friend and his mom he goes and blasts his wife. He takes her to their room. He was angry, but before he could say or do anything Maya starts beating herself. Arjun is unable to stop her. Once she brings her husband under her control, she takes Arjun to Vandana and asks her to speak the truth. Vandana doesnt and Maya tells the truth that suits her. She shows Vandana snooping around and telling her hand accidently got between the doors when she tried to close it.
Maya gets the game as Arjun cant do anything. His mom had snooped around in their room. He goes. Yes people use Maya or perceptions to defeat Maya, and Maya uses the same trick back on them. She uses the information they hide for her advantage.
Same thing happened in court. I told Saanjh asking Samay not to come was not ethical and she had her selfish motives for that, just like yesterday. She thinks with half baked information that suits her she will get Arjun and she wants that. Maya uses the same trick to control Arjun and thinks with the information she gives she can keep him. Vandana I do not have anything to tell.
Yes she was happy her son didnt raise hand at a woman. She knows Maya hit herself. I am happy at that. She is expected to know that, because she has to expose Maya bad and mad.
One thing I want to tell is that Arjun is no duffer. He is a perceptive man, he is an intelligent man. He has so many imperfections but still there are certain things about him that you cannot find in another man. Yes he wanted luxury and Maya came with that package. But do you remember the Arjun who was willing to be a traitor who sold designs to another company than put the honor of one woman in line to defend himself. Yes that day Arjun could easily have told where he was at the time of the theft. He was with Maya, in her apartment. He was taking those signatures from her. She had humiliated him to go down 19 floors. Yet he chose to keep her honor. No he was not Ayan who tore a woman's dress to get keys. He burned himself in that scene for her. Because even if he tells the complete truth society will poke their finger unnecessarily at her.
Maya's choice is not wrong. She has chosen the right man, only if she could understand him than suffocate him. Not everyday you come across a man who can take blame for a woman.
Yes he told about Maya to his brother. But it was his brother. He trusted him. He thought that will be inside the family. But whatever he told was splashed out in the court. Arjun the man has ego, arjun the man has perceptions. I would be looking out when this will break and when he will push aside all these 3 females and take charge of his life. Yes a mother, wife and friend are needed. But a man has to ensure they are kept in proper place, he has to keep them. For that he has to take charge not allowing any woman to take charge of his life or make decisions on his behalf.
Vandana did that in childhood to the 6 year old boy. Saanjh and Maya are doing it for him now. This has to end. Arjun is the centre. The women has to revolve around him in their prescribed orbit that is their role. Sun is the centre, none of the other planets can be the centre of solar system. All problems happens when planets try to become the centre pushing sun to the orbit.
