Wow, Shruti. Love love your analysis. It's same and exactly what I thought and think. I felt so so bad for Arjun. He truly has the worst women in his life. In s1, I didn't use to feel nothing for Arjun except the fact that he lost his parents from childhood and been lonely, sad and has to bear his step-mother now. I used to feel angry at such shallow man because the women in his life were willing to fight, sad and do everything for him while he was all happy,unaware and being selfish to the same women.
But in S2, I feel for him the most along with Maya. But after the fake rape attempt revelation of Maya, I feel so angry and disappointed from her. Like she could've easily charged Ayaan for physical and sexual assault and Arjun would've sided with her most likely, why even frame for rape and ruin yourself I'm the process? She has totally gone nutcase. In this show, all women are so crazy. It's like they are competing with each other to prove who can be the worst. They all are selfish yet think they are doing it for Arjun.
Anyway, coming to the episode, I felt bad for Vandana. But the moment she again told Arjun to break up with Maya, I felt disgusted by such so called mother. You see its not even about that Maya framed Ayaan, or broke her hand or anything because it was this then she would've never told Arjun to break up with her when Maya was all fine with her and begging her to give her a chance. She has the obsession of breaking the couple apart whether the couple is happy, sad or whatever. Maya was completely right to tell her that no person or relation is perfect, but that doesn't mean we can break. One has to work to make it work.
About Maya, when will she stop her lies and dramas? She keeps lying, flying high, and is ruining her own life now. Until the rape frame, I could understand why she was doing what she was doing. Vandana and Saanjh were bad so she was defending what was her rights and what was her. But now it more looks like she is actually letting them get to her and running her own life because of it. She's letting them control her especially Saanjh. She has become completely paranoid of her and ruining her peace, happiness and love because of it. Like woman, you got one of the best husband who loves you the most. No one ever loved her this way. Even her mom didn't. She gave priority to her abuser rather than to her daughter. But instead of appreciating the person who has stood by her and has loved her the most, she's instead ruining it all by herself. Yes, Vandana and Saanjh are bad, but now she has also become about the same and crossing all limits.
I so so want Jhanvi to get up and slap the hell out of her. I have no hopes from Arjun atm. I wonder when he will find out about her framing not just Ayaan but also letting another man touch and bite her to make herself a rape attempt victim? He will feel disgusted by her and rightly so. Also, how low Maya can go to charge Arjun with fake charges of domestic violence and may be will add more charges to it? She's going to go against the same person who out of all crazy people in her life love her and support her blindly ?I know she was just threatning VM to just scare her, so she stops interfering in her and Arjun's life to separate them. But I am 90% sure she will do that in future. So different from the same Maya who risked her life to save him, decided to leave him for his happiness and let her be alone without having her love, and then decided to put herself in life imprison just to save Arjun from a murder charge. But now the same Maya will frame him? Right now she must have not even thought about it and just scaring VM but will do in future because Aneri said in one interview that she is a lawyer or took this role because she will fight a case for Arjun in the show to save him. So I think it will be about domestic violence and may more charges if Maya decides. I hope so much it doesn't happen, but I don't think Aneri would say that for no reason?
That day she will fall and lose Arjun. And Saanjh saying to her about her losing her stuffs and if she find it the next time, she won't give it to her will come true. If we go by all the symbolisms in the show, Saanjh will return Arjun to her even if she wouldn't want to just as she returned her earing, her mangalsutra, and Arjun keeping that dupatta of Maya when Saanjh wanted him to throw it. But still it's a scary thought that what if she will forever lose Arjun and Arjun doesn't come back to her. I can't see that. Can't see Arjun with someone or Maya with someone else. Maya should go to jail for framing someone attempt of rape and if any other crime she has committed or will commit in future. At the same time though if Ayaan will go Scott free of his crimes of physical and sexual assault when in the near future episodes Maya, Saanjh or Arjun decides to get him out, then I wouldn't want Maya going to jail either. But regardless of all that, I wouldn't care if Maya has to go to jail if she commits any other crime. But at the end of the day after all the mess, I want ArYa together, Maya to stop her wrongful ways and to be guided towards light.
