Brilliantly written and I 100% agree with the post. Beyhadh is not a love story it was never promised that.The root of all the problem is people want it to be a cliche love story whereas the makers never intended that in this theme. The promo and taglines are pretty clear. There is not going to be any endgame, the pandit himself told arjun will be lonely in the end. The show is a thriller and I would love to see it that way.

@Darcy I want to see grey and grey only. Let CVs push the envelope. I dont want Mahanta in any character. Every person has selfishness. Let us accept it. But then how you use it decides whether you are snatching something from others or giving something to others.

They are showing fire now and then. But fire can burn others, it can also light others. I would prefer all the 3 characters burn one way or the other and in the end let each become a light in their own way.

I never signed up for beyhadh to watch textbook romance. They are "n" number of shows for that. It looked a thriller and I want it to be a good thriller. So far it has entertained me.

Yes the show has so far entertained me too, and I hope they stick to their plan to make this a "Revolution of Indian TV" like they said. No cliches, no Mahantha. No Goodie and Baddie. No Mahaan Devi Vs Vamp. No Saas Bahu saga. None of that please.

This show was and is a thriller and should remain that way!

Agree will all your points ... I'm not sure whether maya will want to get rid of arjun s family .. as of now no such indication but she def wanted to get rid of saanjh ... but even then when arjun faught with her in the recent episode she got worried thinking how could he do that to daskee , her in security again ...

this is not a love story but I like how with thriller there's love story as well in the background ... I love how the contrast of both saanjh and maya is shown .. maya is unstable , disturbed, with past baggage and she reacts the way she thinks the best manipulate and get things done ... but there's certain scenario that maya was genuine ... saanjh on the other hand have a perfect family, but still unable to come out from the arjun world ... of course saanjh wants the best for arjun but the question is what arjun wants ... he's an adult and he can think and make decision on his own ... what is shown here is yes anything that is too much is not healthy ... be it maya or be it saanjh

Abt arjun how true is it when people say don't judge a book by its cover .. at the moment for him everything is beautiful ... be it wife be it wealth ... be it success ... but how long will it last have to be seen ... he might have encounter a bit of real maya side but there is more to the real maya ... can he accept it or can he handle when times comes ... this part I agree with you he might want to come out of it if maya cage him like her mum and wants him all herself ...

All 3 characters needs to learn and mend their ways ... having said this I hope that maya is not turned negative just to glorify other character ... I have watched number of tv shows where the ml with dark past etc ... but the fl still accept and ml transform to a better person ... so for once I want to see the fl with dark past or damage to one extend heal and gets her love .. and the ml accepts her with all her flaws ...

So all in all I love this thriller but with the bland of love story ... love can do wonder at times ...

And maya and arjun look good together ... 😳

Good take Mandy...I am not very fond of hollywood movies, but one of my friends suggested me Gone Girl...and it thrilled me to d core..,.nd in d end i was laughing hard at d hero for d mess he has landed him into...coming to Beyhadh, the major reason for me was Maya...she is an unconventional lead, grey or even black nd moreover a business tycoon(female lead being Businnes Tycoon is a big thing for Indian Telly),,.i thought Saanjh to be clean, but happy that she is not d one,..She is also selfish, or even grey with Maya...when Maya can manipulate to get what she wants, why not Saanjh go out of her way???But we can support both Maya&Saanjh until&unless they dont do smthg unethical nd unforgivable!!Maya has done smthg already nd i am waiting for her past to completely open up...nd i hope this is d last tym we see Arjun-Saanjh together...i dont want her to go after Arjun, who doesnt even value her !!And d less said abt Arjun d better..,nd in any case, i am in for everything That Beyhadh gives unless its not a cliche...and ArYa or SaaJun doesnt matter...what matters is their jrny!!

Thank you TM. When I see posts like yours I feel like thank God there are people who get what the show is about. Atleast your post is exactly what I anticipated from this show when I saw the promos and decided to watch the show. Then one day I came to the forum and got totally confused with the hype on the romantic angle, wanting a pair together, posts interpreting every single thing in the episodes from color of the clothes to where somebody's shadow fell etc etc trying to predict who will end up with whom. To be frank I got quite confused, when people talk about this being a romantic thriller, love story etc. I started wondering if I misinterpreted the promos, missed promos or what. When I see posts like yours I feel good that there are others like me who is watching it to see the story of Maya, an obsessive manipulator who wants to control. I think kushal and Jenny looks god together but it is so unfair for people to start demanding character changes or story changes. Why don't the couple fans ask a new love story with kushal and Jenny or Kushal and Aneri. Let this story be what it is Maya's obsessive controlling and manipulating love.

My preference is to see Maya realizing her mistakes and finally fixing her problems, with or without Arjun holds no significance.

I started this series because I found the concept new . I really want Maya to show her behad ness as they showed in promos. I don't care about the end game. I also have a feeling that Arjun might die in the end ...

Liked the post. Honestly posts always which were said unbiased till now weren't.

Coming to the post...

Maya is someone who had only look up to her parents who are totally wrong in their own places & completely she has known from ashwin a controlling nature & she admired his power & learned from him & his tactics which are coming out now.

Maya who has been tortured worstly & not even her mom to save her or support learned to win only seeing ashwin winning & the reason she has known is Power & control.

In her growing years she had known to practice only them.

The environment she has lived only taught her this. Unlike saanjh & arjun. Her ways are not right but her craving for love & being only one & Spl in somebody's life is fascinating for her subconsciously.

Her love is extremes & her pain is also extremes, & success as well is extremes everything literally. She had been only extremes in Everything.

She needs love & craves for it due to her isolation from it. Due to her fear, insecurities maya wants more assurance & it may be like the person world shud be rotating around her & protecting her.

As of now she wants arjun to make a fence around her & stand for her protecting & loving. This is not her mistake but her growing environment, her childhood, her parents is what responsible. That doesn't also mean she shud join in some asylum for it. She just needs a right person who can patiently show her colors & right path. Her need for love & past which shud be understood open mindedly from that person.

A bit of medication, relaxation & loved ones care & love can take her out from that dark past & give a new life.

In honesty I feel arjun isn't that powerful guy who can handle maya. Saanjh like person who loves unconditionally & becomes a true Friend in the sense can only handle this maya & make her fears vanish. Saanjh like friend maya should have got or as lover. Only such people can handle maya & take them out from that dark web she was in all these years. In person I don't think arjun has that capability.And maya needs someone like that only.

I don't care if arYa or saajun happen or won't.

Saanjh, she's at fault in her own way. She is still in her subconscious feels that it' shud be her who's right for arjun. & Have been a bride of arjun. Her deaf ear to her father is only leading her to misery.

Though she thinks she has accepted maya&arjun she didn't still. Bcoz if u have been dreaming only abt one dream all your life suddenly in one day how can u believe that it's not gonna happen. It takes time. But this time shud be used for her like her father suggested in moving from that place. If she's still in same place & with same people she can't move.

Saanjh love isnt right either her feeling of arjun is a duffer & she knows everything is not gud. A guy of 27 yrs doesn't like it that way, childhood was diff.

Even though she loves arjun truly arjun doesn't have any of those feelings for her and again she will only feel misery if she married him.

Bcoz only one sided love can't get u any Happiness.

Both ladies actually don't deserve arjun.

Arjun, what to say abt this guy I really still can't connect to him. Either it's bcoz of Khushal acting(no hatred for him) or his character whatever but still I'm not.

I want this 3 characters to end up individually in a better way. I don't care either for arYa or Saajun. Above all maya needs a happy ending & a lovely life.

I only started this show for maya. I want to see her story. I like to see her happy at the end not as some criminal or ending up herself in some asylum. If that's what happens bye-bye to this show.

I agree! A lot of what you've talked about are the things I have also thought about. Such as Maya will get Arjun but her tendency to try and control ones every move will push him away. But he is not allowed to leave therefore, Maya will burn everything around her, if need be, herself too but Arjun will not be allowed to leave. This is where I always through Saanjh's character would step in, where she will stop being a foolish girl in love and use her wits and her lawyer degree to actually help Arjun without expecting anything in return.

I had once made a post (which many didn't agree with, still may not) about how Maya needs to find peace within, and not with Arjun. She can't find peace with Arjun, its just not possible IMO. Arjun has other important people in his life his family and Saanjh, Maya will not be able to accept that in the long run. And because of who she already is and her tendency to control, her love for Arjun will fuel this behaviour which we know isn't right. Arjun's love will push her further into the darkness.

I can only hope that when their worlds have stopped burning, and the ashes fall, Maya, through these ups and downs learns that love has no control and sets Arjun free (not necessarily with Saanjh - that is not the point) and finds peace within.

And yes, I too think that this is a thriller, not a sweet love story about how Arjun saves Maya.
