@katrinasalman I think it's best we just agree to disagree.
1. You can be mentally ill and be a professionally successful person. It is not related.
2. Arjun was just an intern at the time. Where was the shoot, even if there was supposed to be one in lonavla. Maya herself put him on holiday and then took that away from him and used it to her benefit
3. Saanjh coming to Arjun's office doesn't justify maya playing mind games to keep Arjun away from Saanjh. If Maya had so much of a problem with Arjun going for lunch with Saanjh, she could've directly told him not to go, but she wanted to be in the good books of Arjun, hence pretended she was okay with Arjun going out with Saanjh and then played this game.
When did I not accept Maya's flaws being a result of her past? I empathize with her as much as u do. But that doesn't mean I would turn a blind eye n try to justify every wrong act of hers. The same is true for Saanjh. I agree she nags, she irritates and she is as flawed as Maya is. But her flaws are much more human than Maya's flaws. Also, what good work has Maya done? Saving Ayaan? Okay, agreed. But after that she did not even ask Ayaan whether he committed the crime. It didn't matter to her and the kid that Ayaan is, he could take it in any way.
She sure can make an effort to win his heart, when did I say no. But there is a difference in this case. If u love somebody, u should be honest with that person, which, until yesterday's episode, maya has never been. She says she is okay with Arjun not loving her, and then once she reaches home, she tells God that Arjun is hers. Again, there is a difference between wanting somebody to love u and making somebody fall in love with u.
And before u bring up Saanjh into this, I'm not even trying to justify her actions through this point.
My point about Maya playing the friendship card was that ultimately it made Arjun do what she wanted, ie hug her back. A normal person would break the hug and wait for the day when Arjun would hug her willingly but Maya wanted Arjun to hug her back and she'd make it happen at any cost. It wasn't harmful to anybody, when did I say it was. It was an example of manipulation.
