Hello people,
Just had a passing thought after yesterday's episode and with all the discussion going on about how all of Saanjh's actions are deemed absolutly normal and everything Maya does is wrong whatsoever...so thought why not share it...
Now Saanjh saying "Maya ki connection aur paise ki samne mein har gay..." and being more depressed over not being able to shine more in Arjun's eyes than Ayan getting out, that isn't being obsessed. Saanjh wanting Arjun to be kicked out of his job or wanting him to resign just so he isn't around Maya isn't considered as an act of obsession... Saanjh wanting hourly updates of Arjun leaving her all works and also not considering that he might be busy isn't being obsessed or Saanjh not being able to tolerate that Arjun is being cordial or friendly with Maya, isn't also considered as being obsessed... Saanjh's behaving as if she is his wife or girlfriend or something, definitely isn't considered being obsessed, right? It's all normal and she is doing all this because Arjun is her best friend and they both share the supposed 'special' relationship... Like SERIOUSLY?!
Okay, I get that Saanjh is Arjun's best friend and shares a very close relationship with but that doesn't mean he cannot befriend with any other girl or he is supposed to cut off the person out of his life who sees him as a love interest just because you don't deem the person right..? Like what the hell, isn't Arjun suppose to get the right to decide it, best friend and special relationship or not. I mean what Saanjh and the whole family is really doing right now is that they're practically making Saanjh the only girl in his life so that whenever Arjun decides to find love, he doesn't have many options and end up choosing Saanjh... but is that considered taking away the options or will to choose? No, because Saanjh is the supposed 'sane normal' person and so what she does is right and everything that Maya does is wrong. Now I do have best friend and I'm pretty possessive of them too but that doesn't mean I won't want my bestie to find love for themselves or not befriend with anyone else and also neither can they do that to me... but here Saanjh is trying to do that exactly, taking away Arjun's right to decide or choose and all in the name of best friend and 'special' relationship she has with him. At present situation, I feel Saanjh trying to control Arjun and his life than Maya is doing...
Maya does know that Arjun doesn't love her at the moment and she is just not letting him say no to her yet in hopes of making him fall for her like any other person does...we all try to win the person we love with everything in our power and for that she is doing everything in her power... like sending those gifts, she thought those will bring happiness to Arjun or eating at the tea stall for him, she herself said she is trying to find the way to the man's heart. So yes she is all geared up to win him but she isn't trying to buy him... if that was then she would've been the case then she could've offered him all the fame and name when she proposed him at first or would've taken an offense when he came to return those gift. But she didn't because she isn't trying to buy love as she said "Jo pyaar kharida jaye woh teekta nahi..." at least her Jaanvi-Ashwin relationship has taught her that much and she doesn't want to bring the same disaster in the name of love in her life... she isn't trying to make herself another Jaanvi by turning Arjun into another Ashwin, that much sanity she has. So Maya trying to win Arjun and not ready to take 'no' from him isn't that wrong, it's not Arjun is committed and she trying to snatch him from Saanjh...he is very much single and she just isn't ready to give up without trying to win him, so what is so wrong in that...don't we all try that? Now if Arjun was committed or had feelings for anyone else then her efforts to win him would've been considered wrong but that isn't the case no matter how much anyone believes that Arjun has unrealized feelings for Saanjh because he doesn't... right now he feels no such thing for anyone and if Maya is trying to get him fall for her than there isn't anything wrong or unethical in it. And if Maya just backs off now and decides to wait on the sidelines for Arjun to feel something for her while pinning silently for him than she too will end up like Saanjh being totally friend-zoned and watch him go off with someone else, that much even Maya realizes and is working on getting Arjun to fall for her...
Now all say that Maya only finds security in Arjun which she is misunderstanding as love...well aren't we all looking for security and stability in the person we fall in love, which normal person goes out with someone knowing they're are gold-diggers or abusive..? So what is so wrong in Maya finding that in Arjun...why it makes her love is being under so much of speculation?Is it because she fell for Arjun so soon and abruptly... last time I heard it didn't take more than a moment to fall for someone, for Maya that moment was when Arjun saved her from Ashwin. Now Maya getting jealous every time seeing Arjun close to Saanjh or talking about Saanjh... well don't we all get jealous when we the person we love getting close to someone else, just like Saanjh does when she sees Arjun giving importance to Maya but her jealousy won't be considered anything other than normal, why because she is Arjun's supposed 'best friend' with whom he shares 'special' relationship... hypocrisy at it's best and extreme!!
I agree Maya becomes obsessive in future but just don't judge her every action at the moment as an act of obsession... her trying to win her love with doing everything in her power and just not ready to hear a no from the man she loves is as normal as anyone else, it doesn't make her abnormal or obsessed.
