I am not fan of any particular character neither any ship. I am purely here for concept and story not because it is some out-of-the-world story but first time Indian mainstream GEC dealing with a female protagonist who is grey and her story is full of complexes and dark issues. I 've have seen way better and intriguing female protagonist than Maya in western sitcoms and movies.

As far as individual characters are concerned I like everyone . Everyone has their own share of flaws and strength and all are product of their past.

Maya is sure a complex and intriguing character but that doesn't mean I hate Saanjh. I like her too but she need to maintain a little bit distance from Arjun at times. Her habit of 24*7 availability for Arjun leads towards Arjun taking her for granted which he is doing with every women in her life.

It's Maya & not Saanjh for me cuz yeah one reason is I am a Jennifer fan , can't deny that but also cuz the character Maya is intriguing smart beautiful obviously, again can't deny that as one of my reason 😆 & strong . Now coming to Maya I have a soft corner for her cuz this girl had a terribly dysfunctional family .. a wretched evil dad who physically abused her & a push over mom . She has fought all her fights alone with no one to support her. Her extreme nature is also cuz there was no one to guide her or show her the right path . What she wanted she always got by hook or by crook . She doesn't love Arjun according to me , its more of obsession to have him. And since now she's facing obstacles in the form of Saanjh & his mom her will to win him will now be even more strong .
Saanjh on the other hand has a good family support lots of people who will cry or feel sorry in her failures , she will never be alone even if heart broken unlike Maya who's dealing with everything single handedly with no one to cry or feel for her.

In yesterdays episode when Saanjh & Arjun's mom ganged up against her in their war of words ..i was literally praying ki Maya gives them fitting replies & she did just that 😆 bolti bandh kar di dono ke😆
See in Indian tv shows even in movies we make heroes out of rapists possive MCP's..in the excuse of love glorifying angry bad men getting reformed by Ms. goody two shoes type heroines so why not the same view when it comes to a woman ? ! Let's see something new for a change like this really bad girl getting reformed by her man but they have made Kushal's character so stupid 😳.. so why not Saanjh help Maya to come out of her obsessive behavior instead of only babysitting & chipkuing with Arjun . I t would be great to see something new for a change.
Also this show would not be hatke if they end up showing Maya dead or in an asylum .
