Has he brought some time of color into her boring black and white life.. I think a connection started when handed her a picture of herself and told her I sense loneliness.. I dont think anyone has been able to read her so ably before

I think why Maya lets Arjun off so many times is because for the first time she has got somebody who is fearless and challenges her at every point! Nobody has ever done that to her, hence it raises a curiosity in her to know him more.

And that is why she connected to Saanjh too- who wasn't too intimidated by Maya too when it was about work.

Maya seems to like the game she gets to play; like the beer challenge. And she seemed to like the sketch as well... she being depicted as 'monster boss'. So yes, Arjun is a change for her in her routine life.

I believe she liked Arjun and Saanjh being bold and straight forward with their work, and for speaking their minds with her instead of cowering in front of her like the other employees.

I think the soft spot developed after he handed her the picture of herself and stated I sense loneliness in this person's life
