Masked she advances, that was jenni’s caption for that pic..but that’s very true..she just moved one step in her enemies arena..that’s her very first step in her enemies ground...

This show is taking a different turn..we’ll just have to wait and watch...

MayaNation: The thing is, Maya's character became fully negative after the three-year leap and Maya committed a lot of horrible crimes. The show also became monotonous with Maya winning in her evil deeds every time. But the character was completely new and different from the others on Indian television, and the portrayal and character sketch was extremely unique.

But this season, the thrill is there, but the uniqueness and 'never seen before' factor is missing. Like you said, this is basically Ek Hasina Thi and Naagin reloaded.

I have never tried to like something as much as I am trying to like Beyhadh 2...Beyhadh 1 was my first ever ITV Show....I don’t mind Maya being positive or negative....Jennifer got to play such a unique character....There’s no other actress I like apart from her....it was because of Maya

2 Maya and Rudra - I love their scenes....I don’t want to ship them because my ships never sail..I will sit back and enjoy it

What I don’t like -

Monotonous Jennifer - Watch her in B1 then in B2 .....She is not getting different scenes anymore....

In first week there were 3 Mayas

1 Bossy Maya with Rudra

2 Coy Maya with Rishi

3 Emotional Maya with her mother

I loved these layers in her character....Now Maya is same with everyone.....she was shown to care for her mother in week 1 ....Later they showed her glaring down at her and bossing her around....her scenes are same...No matter who is in front of her....Apart from MJ.....

In Beyhadh 1, Maya was negative in the end....She is not grey right now in S2...She is black...In what situation trying to choke Rishi is grey?.....He is not her culprit....Why would one punish MJ’s son for what he did?....They have established that Maya is a potential killer....She has tried physically harming people already.....I do not care for what’s right or wrong as long as I get to see Jennifer’s performance ....

There’s no thrill ....She is out for revenge.....I didn’t mind Maya killing people in Beyhadh 1....I’d rather she kills Sanjh on day 1....But that Maya is missing .....

Maya 1.0 was abused by Rajeev 1.0, her father Ashwin, her mother, Saanjh, Arjun, the police officers. So she got even with every one of them.

Maya 2.0 is hurting those who have never hurt her. There's no reasoning. We saw why Maya 1.0 killed Ashwin. The fact that Ashwin was abusing Maya 1.0 and her mother was made clear within the first few episodes. We are hitting episode 20 soon and we have no idea about Maya 2.0's brother/father, or what happened between Maya 2.0 and MJ. 🤔

Honestly, its all personal preference whether we like B1 or B2. I am personally not a believer of ratings is equal to quality content, because if that was the reason ITV would not have shows running for 8+ years on the same plot. I am looking at you KumKum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, YRKKH etc. Beyhadh 1 for me started out strong, but was in the end overall lacking in certain things which i listed.

The aim of the party was to humiliate MJ in front of world, weaken Rudra's and MJ's relations further, and punish Antara for her wrongdoings of the past. All of this will not make sense until we find out why Maya is doing all this. I believe it will be revealed once Maya and MJ are face to face. I believe that will be soon, once Rudra and Maya are together.

As for B2, I love the actors, chemistry, the plot and Maya's avatar. The show is still in its initial stages and it will pick up further. Everything will be better once Maya's reasons are revealed.

I can not empathize with Maya 2.0 at all, she's so one dimensional. Like I've said before Beyhadh 2.0 is literally another season of Naagin without the snakes lmao. Maya 2.0 just want revenge for MJ's wrongdoings. Maya 1.0 just wanted to feel safe for once in her life, while she felt safe with Arjun during her honeymoon phase, he betrayed her after marrying her. That's why I relate to Maya 1.0 a lot better. A woman who was betrayed by so many men in her life who just wanted to feel safe for once in her life. Versus Maya 2.0 who's only mission is to destroy MJ who allegedly ruined her life. Like atleast MJ is out of Maya 2.0's life. Ashwin and Rajeev 1.0 were never gonna leave Maya 1.0 the hell alone. Not saying MJ shouldn't go unpunished, but do you get what I mean? Maya 1.0 had horrible circumstances juxtaposed to Maya 2.0.

Its weird considering Maya 1 had horrible stuff happened to her compared to Maya 2, considering we don't even know yet what has happened to Maya 2? Its too soon to judge the story, when we don't even know the main juicy part of the story about what happened to Maya to turn her from an innocent girl to the girl that is obsessed with hate.

Maya killed her friend she made in jail who never harmed her.. she did it because she wanted to use her to go out of jail...
Maya indirectly got prem killed.. not only that she was trying to kill jahnvi after that not because of her being a bad mother but because she thought Arjun would give her sympathy and love like he is sympathizing with saanjh for her father's death... that is pretty insane..

Maya almost poisoned the dog arjun and his family had...

maya Wrongly framed Ayaan in false rape case thus ruining his life... later also tried to kill him..

Maya killed Vandana ( even though i hated that character) but she didn't deserve to be killed...

she poisoned Ayaan's daughter.. even though she didn't let her die.. but it's like saying almost killing someone and putting them through lot of pain and then not letting them die...

Also she killed the Pandit in Mauritius just cause he said her and Arjun's jodi won't be successful..

i loved maya in season 1 but she was insane and a sociopath.. her life made her so but she was a sociopath nontheless...

In seaon 2 we can see from flashbacks she was abused by someone.. probably MJ or someone close to him.. she is not insane... like maya in season 1 who wouldn't think twice before killing someone just if they say something negative about arjun or their pair, Maya this season has a reason to what she is doing... she doesn't go in a random killing spree... she was wronged in past and wantes to hurt that family only...

that being said i enjoy both the seasons... i consider them different stories..

First one as a tragic story of an insane girl who was wronged in her past but that torture turned her into a monster that can no longer be helped.. and no one bothered to help her when she could be help... what i loved about that season is they had guts to show the main character of show being dark.. who would do all the crime and kill people for her obsession... this is something not so common in Indian daily soap.. And i enjoy well-written villains (like Joker)... that being said season 1 for me was only about maya... cause rest all characters were weakly written including Arjun.. and other actors were weak too.. Also they never revealed much hyped Maya's sach in season one...

Season 2 for me is about a normal innocent girl who had been wronged to this extent that it forced her to turn dark.. but not insane yet.. she is still capable of showing niceness to people who are not in her revenge plan.. like that dog or that transgender she met in traffic.. I am also satisfied about the characterization of other characters... and actors are also decent.

About the slow pace, this complaint i had and have in both the seasons... few episodes are just fillers which could have been used to move the story forward

omg i totally forgot about Maya 1.0's friend at the psych ward 🤣 who got plastic surgery to look like Maya 1.0. and Maya 1.0 killed her off. Yeah you're right!
