Seriously a much needed post. To all the late BP watchers what are currently watching right now maybe I could give it a try too.

Just now I also wrote in another post how much I miss seeing Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda (full names for further rating 😆) aka to Bepanahians as JenShad 😃 - and the show itself, of course.
Currently I am going through old episodes, now at 67 (end of court case, Id celebrations...) - and it's so wonderful just to see our jodi on screen again ... and so painful at the same time, knowing they are not there now.

There seems to be no news about either of them taking up anything new right now. So, how would they pass their days?

As for watching any other show - late night or not -, the few glimpses at what Colors offering now (keeping aside 'boycot thoughts' for the moment) show abs NOTHING worth watching. Likewise for other channels - broadly speaking...
Bepanah has SPOILT us for good, setting standards of story line and acting so high that current shows are just not up to the mark.
So I am back to READING BOOKS more, friends 😆 - waiting all the while for a miracle, the miracle of seeing JenShad again - in reel or real life

Now I often wonder how the hell HC old fandom waited for him for those long years?
Im too desperate to see him on screen by each passing day.

At least Jen posts her updates on insta. :))
HC doesn't do that! I think being a HC fan u have to be very very patient😆

Please give me classes...O dear HC old fans!! Guide me!!

Missing them badly. you can say that again.
Much of BP's popularity was because of the pairing of Jenshad. They were brilliant together. They kept the fans hooked even after the serial derailed after the channel stated interfering.e.g Arshad track was nothing compared to early episodes of BP but HC& JW ...specially HC kept most of us captive .

I keep wondering why no one is coming forward with a great script for them together or individually with other actors. First preference is of course to get them on our screen together.
May be they are making good use of the sudden break after months of hard work.Maybe they are waiting for scripts to their choice. I do not think Harshad will take another long break before bouncing back as lead actors have shelf life and he needs to do a few more great roles to be remembered as one of the best on TV.

Best would be if they get a role on the big screen. They are much better than many of the newcomers.

I have rewatched BP twice. Then I started a review of HC's earlier serials as I had not seen any before. Jenny I have watched in almost all her shows and she was the reason I started watching BP. I have seen Dharampatni,DSDD...SB, Tere Liye ( in bits & pieces as it is not available fully anywhere) and am now on to KDMHMD. Humsafars I had seen while BP was still on.

Harshad's progression as an actor began with TL though he showed promise in LRL. KDMHMD is a typical Balalji production and difficult to sit through...doing it only for HC.

There is nothing of worth on ITV right now to replace BP and that is a huge tragedy.

ITV is a sad sad place at the moment...JenShad aside, there's absolutely nothing worthy on TV. My mother - an avid ITV watcher for YEARS - complained to me the other day that there's nothing to watch on indian television. I was shocked to hear that from her because she's not choosy and will be loyal to shows even if they go off track.

That aside, I've been entertaining myself by watching some HC interviews because the man could be speaking about paint drying and it would be riveting. I love his voice, I love how he takes his time to explain his point of view and shyly smiles when he's done. Sigh, he's an enigma.
My favorite is his solo series during Humsafars with his long locks and his face inches from the cam...here is the link for Part 1, following parts can be found via channel...

Part 1

Also missing Jenny however she posts on IG so we know what she's up too...I think she's definitely taking a longer break considering how she did two shows back to back...I feel like she'll probably come back in the second half of this year, or even later.

TM. Indian tv right now is in its worst phase equivalent to the dirt on the streets 🥱 except for a few Sony tv shows, absolutely nothing is worth your time. It's either the so called supernatural shows which have become the new trend in the industry or the nonsense shows which have been running for the past 4-5 years. Indian tv does not deserve Jenshad.

I miss the show and AdiYa but at the same time I am trying to move on for my own sanity. Been feeling depressed since last month
no longer want to live in misery. I am purposely not rewatching the episodes otherwise I will end up crying but I can't help watch a few scenes here and there.
