If Yash and Pooja turn out to be innocents and didn't have an affair at all (or at least not with each other), that'd drive both Zoya and Adi towards the search of truth of how and why they died leading them discovering that it wasn't an accident but a murder. And in seeking the truth and justice for their spouses, the two would eventually grow close and cupid could strike the bow.

ohh I see what you're saying😊, that both AdiYa will be together in finding the mystery of it all and come close that way.

For me I would like it if PoSh did cheat, only because Zoya and Aditya will be hurt and betrayed and they'll see that their relationships with PoSh were just superficial. They will have that bepannah love with each other and that this time around their love will be mature and profound unlike what they had with PoSh respectively. The makers and HarshJen have said that this is a story about finding a second chance at love and I think that betrayal was important. Aditya even mentioned that he loved Pooja endlessly and he will get a new love, trust and faith in someone.

Um, I don't know. I think the sanctity with which both Zoya and Adi loved Yash and Pooja respectively needs to be withheld. Or Zoya will always remain Yash's wife to Adi and Adi will always remain Pooja's husband to Zoya. They'd never be able to break out of that image/position and look at each other as individuals. I'm personally in favour of an affair not having existed at all between PooSh but given the evidences so far in the show and the statements by actors/makers points to the exact opposite.

I personally and vehemently am in favor of the Poosh affair because it would make the Adiya journey even more poignant and angst-ridden. The makers specifically talked about humanizing the ones who walk out of marriages while making the loyal ones introspect a bit about what went wrong. That would make the story even more interesting than the scenario where the two of them just turn out to be pawns in a bigger game.
